"Who ARE you?"
I am the girl my husband never thought he wanted. I am the quiet person who sat next to you in class that the teacher loved. I am the person who calls you when you don't pay your bills. I am the one you thought needed therapy for a while. I am the most stable child my parents have, and that's a little scary.
I'm Jennifer... I'm 27, newly married to a wonderful guy in the Air Force, and I live with my parents in Little Rock, Arkansas. I miss my husband, I'm getting a really bad case of wanting a baby, and I don't really like my job. My two favorite people are both on the opposite side of the Earth. My wonderful husband has been going through some tough times being stationed in South Korea, but he will be home oh so soon and we can finally begin a life together. My dear friend just had a baby boy, and it's the most exciting thing to me at the moment... watching her go through her pregnancy and watching him grow. I feel like my life is finally starting to go in a great direction. That's who I am right now.
Here are some quick little facts about me:
- Yes, I'm from Arkansas. This DOES NOT mean that I:
- am inbred. My mother is from California, my father grew up in Missouri and Alabama. They are in no way related to one another. They didn't move to Arkansas until 1973, two years before I was born.
- say horrible words like "y'all" and "yonder." I also do not pronounce the word "naked" as "nekkid."
- like Bill Clinton. I think he's a disgrace to Arkansas... the country for that matter. Then again, I think most politicians are disgraces.
- know how to do square dance, clog, or any other "hillbilly" type dances.
- never wear shoes. Well.... I do like to be barefoot... But I do own about 10 pairs of shoes.
- These are a few of my favorite things (in no particular order)
- Children. I have 4 godchildren. Everyone says I'd better pray that my friends don't all die at the same time. There's another gorgeous child that I spend tons of time with, he might not be my godchild, but close enough.
- Sweet tea. I was raised in the South after all.
- Poetry. I write some of my own.
- Photography
- Converse high tops
- Silver jewelry, especially rings.
- Music, music, and more music
- Frogs
- Angels
- My daddy
- Butter pecan ice cream with Magic Shell topping
- Eeyore
- My green eyes
- Insane Clown Posse
- The month of December
- My husband's grin
- Roses, daisies, ivy
- Road trips and just about traveling anywhere
- Wearing guy's jeans
- Dark blue
- Tattoos... I have 4. Pics: #1 left breast, #2 right breast, #4 left ankle (this has been updated with some kanji symbols, but no pic yet). No pic of #3 yet... it's on my back and I haven't been able to get that one yet.
- My tongue ring. I do have a pic to show that off.
- Things I could seriously do without
- My southern drawl (but my husband loves it)
- Television
- Nearsightedness
- My husband being stationed in Korea for a whole year without me.
- My smoking habit
- Any guy that either of my sisters have married and/or dated
- My sister's best friend
- My 38DDs (he likes those too)
- The month of July
- Moutain Dew, Mellow Yellow. I won't drink anything that is yellow and fizzes. It's just not right.
- Star Wars, Star Trek, and the whole sci-fi genre in general.
- Going to Walmart, but it's just an evil necessity. I think it's a conspiracy.
- Weird things about me
- I have huge feet. They are size 10 in women's shoes. Then again, as I mentioned above in the things I hate, I am a bit top-heavy. If I had small feet, I quite possibly would have a balance problem.
- I'm very anal retentive at work and can't function if my routine is disrupted.
- I sleepwalk and talk in my sleep.
- In high school and for a few years afterward, I would shave the underside of my head. Then I grew up. Damn, I wish I hadn't done that (grow up that is).
Now you know way too much about me and think I'm a freak. Good. You catch on quick.
