James Hetfield-Guitar/Vocals

How did the band start?
Lars put a add in a newspaper says he wanted some people to jam with, when James answered they got together but James wasn't to happy with Lars' plan'. Then Lars went to England to follow DiamondHead then after he got back he got a spot on the Metal Massacre 1 album and talked James into helping him make a song.
Who thought of the name Metallica?
Lars so called editor friend was starting a metal magazine and he asked if Lars liked the name Metallica for the name for his upcoming magazine. Also at the same time he was looking for a name for his new band so he said he didn't like it and suggested something else and stole the name for himself.
What was the first Metallica song recorded on a album?
It was Hit The Lights which was on the Metal Massacre 1 album.
Who made the Metallica logo?
James Hetfield is the guy who made the logo.
What ever happened to Cliff?
He died.
Who is Cliff?
He was the first bassist for Metallica.
What is Megaforce Records?
It is Metallica's orginal record label in which Kill 'Em All and Ride The Lightening was on.
What is NWOBHM?
NWOBHM stands for New Wave of British Heavy Metal.
Who does Metallica's artwork?
Pushead (Brian Schroeder) and Mark DeVito do a majority of the artwork for T-shirts and merchandise, and James came up with the scary guy logo. But each album cover is a different and unique situation.

Napster is a online music community that you can use to download songs from the internet in MP3 format. And the reason they are suing them is they think it is wrong to take the songs without their permission and also that is basically stealing since the songs are copyrighted.

S&M stands for Symphony and Metallica. In which on S&M Metallica sings along side a symphony orchestra.
What happened to Jason?
He quit the band. Saying they weren't going the way he wanted to go.
