Chapter 12 Fight

"What am I going to do," Charmony asked the now new Mrs. Kevin Richardson, Kristin, "He's more angrier than I have ever seen him. He won't let me out of his sight. It's like I'm in prison. I can't help it. I know I can't be torn between AJ and Brian but I am. How did I get myself into this mess?"

"Charm, I've never been in a situation like this before. I don't have any advice to give you except to follow your heart. I know it's going to be hard but that's what you have to do," Kristin explained, "Maybe you need to spend time with AJ, even if Brian is being a gorilla. You already know why you love Brian. Now find out if you really have feelings for AJ."

Charmony had a feeling that this whole situation was going to get out of hand and someone was going to get hurt. She didn't like people getting hurt because of her. This was going to be one hellish experience for Charmony, she knew it.

*Brian and AJ*

"Are you even going to talk to me," AJ asked stupidly to Brian.

"Well, Let's see. My fiance ran away and you were the only one who knew. I find my fiance and she doesn't want anyone to know that we were getting married because you were in the room. On my wedding day my fiance says she can't marry me because she has feelings for you. So when you ask, 'Are you even going to talk to me?' I'd say it's a pretty slim chance in hell. Do you have any idea how much I am pissed off right now?" AJ shook his head no, "Well let me tell you. The one girl in my whole life, who has pretty much all of my love. Doesn't even know if she loves me because SOME FLING like YOU is confusing her. I want to hurt you badly the way I'm hurting. I won't though because I have dignity and I don't go around steal my best friends' girls. So stay the hell away from me. actually go to hell."

AJ had to laugh, "Let me tell you Mr. High and Mighty, I wasn't a fling. If I was I wouldn't have had this much effect on her," AJ stated. "That day in the hospital where you told her to kiss me. She enjoyed it. She put her heart into it. Then lied," AJ hollered.

Brian punched AJ in the face yelling, "Charmony never lies."

"Oh yeah!! That's right your precious Charmony never lies," AJ laughed, "That's why after you left the room that day with everyone else; she told me she missed kissing me. She missed looking at my face everyday. She missed hearing my voice, hearing my laugh, and seeing my smile."

That was the last straw for Brian, he started pummelling AJ's face until AJ began to pummel Brian back. No one was going to talk to him like that not even a womanizer like AJ. They fought each other until they were both bleeding, scratched up and out of breath.

"You had no right spending time with her after we broke up," Brian raged after he regained his breathing.

"Oh so I can't be friends with her," AJ raged back.

"Yes that's right," Brian raged.

AJ stormed off. It was evident that Brian was not in his right mind and wouldn't be for a while. He shook his head at Brian's irrationalization.

*AJ's "Apartment"*

Charmony walked in to AJ's part of the mansion. She was nervous. She didn't know why she was even bothering to follow Kristin's advice. Just as she changed her mind and was about to leave, she heard the door open. She turned to find herself face to face with AJ. He was bruising up with scratches and blood all over his face. Her eyes widened in horror.

"You were in a fight," she asked uncertain.

AJ nodded.

"Was it because of me," she asked again.

AJ nodded again.

"I'm sorry," she cried as she ran to him and wrapped her arms around his body.

AJ winced at the pressure of Charmony's body against his. The pressure caused pain. "It's ok Charm. It's not that bad," he tried to reason.

"It's not that bad," Charmony asked in disbelief, "Alex, Brian and you got into a fight over me. Brian is angry at you over me. I shouldn't be breaking up your friendship with him. Infact I shouldn't even be in the picture anymore. I should just go back to Kentucky and that rinky dink town and stay there forever," she carefully placed her hands on his cheeks; moving his head side to side to examine the damage.

AJ winced. The pain was shooting through all of his nerves and all over his face. "Ooph," he grunted.

"Let me get you some ice and a warm damp cloth. We need to clean you up," Charmony said as she turned and walked out the door to go to the kitchen.

AJ reach out and grabbed her wrist before she exited his "apartment." "You don't have to do this Charm," he began, "I can clean myself up."

"I know I don't have to," Charmony spoke up, "I want to. You're important to me and I take care of people who are important to me." She then walked out the "apartment" and walked to the kitchen to retrieve the ice. Then returned to his "apartment" and walked into the bathroom to soak a washcloth with warm water and filled a bowl up as well. She returned to his bedroom and pointed to his bed.

AJ sat down on his bed slowly. He saw he set down the bowl she had in her hand and the bag of ice on his nightstand. She took out the washcloth was was in the bowl and wrung it out. She sat down next to him on the bed and carefullly placed the washcloth on his face wiping off any blood she saw. She occasionally dunked the cloth into the bowl and wrung it, then went back to wipe off the blood from his face. She placed the bowl and wascloth back on his nightstand; then picked up the bag of ice and placed it on his swelling right cheek. He winced at the pain and cold, but got used to it after a couple seconds.

Charmony looked at AJ. She saw the same youthfulness in his eyes the day she met him five years ago. He still seemed naive from the look in his eyes. She realized that was the reason why he probably always wore sunglasses to hide that look from the world. He had to be the "bad boy", the rebel. He couldn't do that with his eyes giving away everything.

AJ stared back into her eyes. He looked into her soul. He smiled knowing that she was finding out everything she needed to know from his eyes.

Out of nowhere, it hit Charmony, "Alex," she gasp barely above a whisper. She needed AJ. It wasn't Brian at all even though Brian and her could telepathically connect to each other, right now she needed AJ.

Smiling, AJ took the ice bag away from his face, placing it on the bed. He inched his way to Charmony's face targeting her lips. He captured them with his for a brief peck and pulled away.

Charmony pulled him back to her lips and opened her mouth to invite his tongue. The two began to probe each other's mouths looking for answers that wouldn't be solved.
