Chapter 1 - Shock
Brian hardly recognized Charm when he was looking for her. He knew she would take an earlier flight just to get to see him sooner. He wished he hadn't been away from her for so long. Now she was pregnant. He felt jealous and angry. Damn it he was confused. She didn't have an affair behind my back did she, he asked himself, Rok, don't be stupid, this is Charm, she would never never cheat on you. She loves you and you love her, he convinced himself. He still felt pain, jealousy, and anger deep inside of him. He covered by putting on a smile and running up to her to give her a careful hug and a long passionate kiss.
"It's nice to see you again too Lucky," Charmony said with a smile and counter-kiss.
Looking at her stomach and than into her eyes, "I think we need to talk," Brian announced. He led her to a bench and they sat down next to each other.
Finally, now we get to talk after me trying to tell you for the past seven months, Charmony thought to herself. "No, I didn't cheat on you and yes it is yours. I tried to tell you everytime we were on the phone together for the past seven months but you were always in a hurry or you were always sleepy and never in the mood to talk," she answered his mental questions, that was how well she knew Brian.
"How far along are you," he asked in a happy, sing-song voice.
"I'm due anyday now," she said.
Brian knew that women over seven months pregnant shouldn't fly, it could risk the lives of both child and mother, plus there was potential of pre-mature labor, "Sweetie, you shouldn't have flown down here in your condition. What would have happened if you went into labor or the plane crashed or the baby was delivered still-born," he kept asking.
"Lucky, I couldn't have told you otherwise. This was the only way you were going to listen to me. I don't know what I would have done in those situations. I just wanted you to be there when the baby was born," she commented. She was just as scared as Brian was. She even went against her doctors' orders by flying and coming down to Florida. At least he was taking the whole matter better than she thought he would be. She thought he wasn't going to believe her or he wasn't going to forgive her but he wasn't doing either of them.
"You're probably right. If I hadn't been listening to you carefully for the past seven months, I probably would have never let you say anything," Brian confessed. He knew she was right. He was taking her for granted and h didn't like the way he was treating her. "C'mon let's get you home so you can get some sleep. I'm pretty sure the flight was long and tiresome for you."
Charmony nodded. They hooked back up with the rest of the BSB and Brian introduced Charmony to AJ. She really wasn't paying attention was almost sleeping walking. She was glad Brian was supporting her. All six went onto the monorail to get to the buggage claim, pick up her stuff and headed for the cars that were waiting outside for them.
"OWE....BABY....OWE....I....DON'T....THINK....OWE....OWE....CAN....OWE....GO....HOME....UGH.....JUST YET," Charmony screamed in pain.
"WHAT!!! BABY YOU ALRIGHT," Brian panicked.
"NO....OWE....MY.....UGH....WATER....UGH....OWE....JUST....BROKE," Charmony screamed again.
"Oh....that's....ok....we'll get you some.....more," Brian said obviously in a state of shock.
"OWE....NO!!!....NOT....NOW....OWE....," she screamed to herself, then to Brian, "NOT THAT KIND OF....OWE....WATER....OWE....I'M IN LABOR," she screamed in pain again.
Brian had to think for a minute. "Those contractions are to close together aren't they. I thought it's suppose to take hours to deliver babies," he asked the other four men.
All five men picked Charmony up and ran to AJ's Ford Expedition and he, Brian, and Charmony went in his car and spent off to the nearest hospital, which was Orlando Memorial.
"OOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWWEEEEEEEEEEEEEE," Charmony screamed so loud it almost broke Brian and AJ's ear drums.
"We're almost their Sweetie Charm," Brian said softly hoping to calm her down. He knew they were both frightened, her worst of all. He couldn't imagine what she was going through.
* Orlando Memorial Hospital *
As soon as AJ, Brian, and Charmony arrived at the hospital, Charmony and Brian were rushed into delivery.
While in the delivery room, AJ was waiting in the maternity ward waiting area for the other three BSB members. They finally arrived twenty minutes later.
"Heard any news yet," Kevin asked anxiously. He couldn't want to see the new edition to the Littrell/Richardson family.
"No not yet," AJ said, "They were rushed in as soon as we got here...." AJ was about to finish what he was saying when Brian ran in to the waiting area and screamed, "Twins!!! I have twins!!! One boy and one girl!!!"
"Congradulations," said the four other Backstreet Boys.
"What are their names," Kevin asked anxious to meet his two new cousins.
"Alexia Harmony and Alexander Brian Littrell," Brian she cheerfully. "C'mon follow me. I want you to meet them," Brian said waving the other four on to follow him.
All five men went into Charmony's birthing room to meet Brian's new family.
Charmony was holding both the twins in her arms and smiled admiring their beauty and looked up when she heard footsteps enter her room. She smiles when she sees Brian walk over to her bedside followed by the rest of the BSB.
"On our way in here Brian told us how you came of the twins' names. I am very honored. He also asked if I wanted to be Alexander Brian's godfather," AJ spoke first, "I would love to, thank you."
"I'm also honored that you want me to be Alexia Harmony's godfather," Kevin spoke, "Now you're officially apart of the family. Welcome to the family," Kevin finished and kissed Charmony on the forehead.
"Hey what about us," Howie and Nick whined feeling left out. This made Brian and Charmony laugh.
"Don't worry guys," Charmony began, "Brian and I plan on staying together for a long time. So, I am pretty sure you two will become godfathers in the future too."
Charmony finally looked up and saw everyone clearly for the first time since she landed. Then to Kevin and AJ, "Your both very welcome," Charmony said. She looked at AJ and her eyes bugged out of her head. She knew him. She literally choked.
"Honey, Are you ok," Brian asked, "Do you need a drink of water or something? I'm going to get you a drink of water. I'll be right back."
"I'll go with you, Frick," Nick said and followed Brian out the door.
"Howie, AJ go get something to eat. I want to stay with my future cousin-in-law who is the mother of those two little beautiful cousins of mine," Kevin said.
"No, Boo. You don't have to stay," Charmony objected, "Why don't you go eat something to eat too. I'd like to talk to AJ and get to know him better. Since he and Brian live together and I will be staying at their place for a while. It just might be the time for me to make a new friend," Charmony further explained.
"Ok, I'll be back in twenty minutes. See you later," Kevin said and existed the room. Howie followed behind him.
"What's the big idea, you pretending to be a backstreet boy when you really are not," Charmony asked AJ, a little above a whisper not wanting to wake the twins up.
"What do you mean what's the big idea? You never asked what group I was in, in the first place Sara!," AJ answered a little sarcastically.
"Well James, if that is really your name," Charmony said just as sarcastically, "Sara is my stage name. Whats your excuse AJ McLean," she asked very icilily.
"All the time we were going out and you were mentioning some guy name Lucky, I didn't know you were talking about Brian," AJ defended himself.
"If I had known you were the AJ and the Bone, Brian was talkimg about I would have never gone out with you in the first place," Charmony retorted.
"Hey I wasn't the one who was cheating on my boyfriend, you were," AJ defended himself again.
"No, you were just cheating on your girlfriend. Well, I am certainly glad we didn't sleep together at all," Charmony began, "I would have made the most terrible mistake in my life. Dammit, I can't believe I kissed one of my fiancee's best friends/brothers. If he finds out he's going to kill me and most of all you."
"He already knows," came a voice from outside the hall. It was Brian.
