The real stars were actually the waves though. These huge, killer monsters bash surfers around like seaweed. Kate Bosworth did put up a good performance...I should give her credit for that. However, I can't say the same to Sanoa Lake who apparently has no personality other than cheering on her friends and Michelle Rodriguez, who struts the entire movie on one pitch: (I'M PISSED AT THE WORLD!), Mika Boorem, Bosworth's little sister, and the story of Bosworth's cheesy "romance" overshadows anything else. And must I say that the secondary charcaters (the guys) in the film were completely lame.
However, I should give much credit to all the cinematography. The camera's were everywhere shooting from chicks asses to the killer waves. Sure the plot sucked but it kept you busy. It focused more on the action then anything else. Just your typical chick flick mixed in with a cool setting and some killer waves.
