Quick Description: This is Nicole Holofcener's second film. She wrote and directed it. It follows a mother, Jane (Brenda Blethyn), her two biological daughters, Michelle (Catherine Keener) and Elizabeth (Emily Mortimer), and her 8-year old adopted African American daughter, Annie (Raven Goodwin).
