This is a picture of the Mountains going to Vancouver when I was on the ferry. I call it purple haze. I obviously altered it to look like this and I think it looks pretty kewl.

A lucky day for me & three of my friends. The Cup actually came to the college so we had to get our pics taken.

This is Dallas. He used to live with me until I moved. He's my old room-mate's dog. Believe it or not, Dallas once gave me a concusion one day when I was fighting with him. He pounced on the back door to the deck & I had the door knob turned to open it so that just as he would jump on the door I would open it making him fall in the house but instead he surprised me & the door swung right into my head. I had a huge bump & a massive headache. The kitten is my cat Kizzy. She's a little devil. Always getting into things as cats do. Only thing is, now I'm the one that has to clean up the mess. No more parents around to do it. When these two little buggers get playing together they don't know when to quit. Most times Dallas would run out of the room with a limp or a yelp 'cause Kizzy would get him good. Dallas is such a suck.
My trip to Nassau, Bahama's and Blue Lagoon: Dolphin Encounters
June 12, 2002
This is Abaca and Princess. They are a mother and daughter pair at Blue Lagoon: Dolphin Encounters. Abaca is on the left and Princess is on the right. Abaca was the first dolphin collected for Dolphin Encounters and is also the oldest at Blue Lagoon at 35 years. Princess, is only 21 monthsa and is the youngest at the facility. It is very rare for a dolphin to reach any age past 25. However, being in captivity has many, many advantages than out in the wild. They have no predators, get 4 meal sessions a day (4 shows), get full medical check-ups continually and are very well taken care of. Spoiled, that's for sure!. What is also very interesting about these dolphins is that they have learned up to 80 different behaviours. They can also combine behaviours in any combination to form new behaviours. Incedibly smart for a marine animal I'd have to say.
I can't believe I actually got this picture. Their so fast! Abaca on the left and princess on the right. There are 16 dolphins at Dolphin Encounters. Three have been made famous by Hollywood. Anyone remember the 1995 re-make of Flipper? Well, three of the dolphins from Blue Lagoon were used. Their names are Fat Man, Jake and McGyver. All three took part in making the film.
Here I am on the ledge of the island. Believe it or not, this is the first time time the sun actually appeared completely and long enough for me to get some sun. Can't you tell I need it? In the background is Nassau Island where we came from. It's about a 20 minute ferry ride.
