I close my eyes to the world and say goodnight
Knowing that nothing in this world is even right
Still I take my life in spite
hoping for a dancing gleam of light
to see the joy of a child palying with a kite
And the world taking more than one bite.
A plane lands in my mind
taking whats left of my world far behind
As though there are no goals for me to find
Making a sweet repute more refined
And so now you see how much I've lost my mind.
