Bipolar Disorder Doesn't Have To Be Depressing! This page is dedicated to all who suffer from Bipolar Disorder, as well as our family and friends. Bipolar Disorder is also known as Manic Depressive Illness. I have lived with Bipolar Disorder all of my life. I was diagnosed with Manic Depression in 1995. I spent much time in serious denial. I lost my marriage, my finances were a mess, because of this sadness, guilt and mood swings.

Normal, is not just a setting on the dryer!

January 17, 1999 I was at the end of my proverbial rope. Life as I knew it was over, and I did not know which way to turn. I had lost everything material, and was about to lose my children. I got on my knee's and begged God to help me. HE DID!! This is the story of how God taught me to get better, and I would like to share that with you.

Today my life is one of strength, peace and hope. I have my kids, my house, my car and my self respect back. If you are in a hopeless situation, reach out, He is reaching out to you.

I am not a doctor, I am a survivor. Today God has me in ministry, sharing what I have learned with others of us who still struggle. Life does not have to be so difficult. This is not a cure all nor is it a quick fix. But, it is so worth it.

If you are the spouse of someone with Bipolar Disorder, or someone who loves a person with Bipolar Disorder, there is strength and hope here as well. Drop me a note, I would love to hear from you. You are not alone. There is a lot of information on this site, I hope and pray that it is helpful to you. Look at the side bar to see what else is here, and browse a little bit.

Am I Bipolar?

There is a big difference between just being sad and depression. Everyone feels sad now and then, such as when the family dog dies or a significant relationship falls apart.

Depression is far more serious. It's a clinical psychological condition. People may feel sad, down in the dumps, have no confidence, and feeling gloomy. Unlike sadness or temporary feelings of grief, depression lingers.

Take the test! Answer these questions, if you answer yes to four or more of them in each category, you might be Bipolar. Please contact your Doctor.

This page includes, the Bookstore where you can find lots of information that can help you in your search for answers. The Chat room is here so you can talk directly to me, or just have someone to talk to and pray with. I am usually in the chat room by 8:00 pm MST
