POEMS

In our Oklahoma skies tonite . . .
many new stars will shine so bright,
As we search our hearts and souls . . .
And question, "How could this be right"?

We didn't want our loved ones to go.
We shouted, NO! Please stay,
But the Lord wrapped us in his loving arms
And said "Dear One, I must have my way".

First fear, then shock, then anger claimed us
until we were half wild,
But the Lord whispered softly to us
you raised them to be my child,

I only loaned them to you
That day you first conceived,
And we all, then knew, the Hell on earth
Felt by Mother Mary when she grieved,
We all scream out today in anger
"They" killed our hopes and dreams,
But each time we see a falling star
We'll know . . .
Our Angels got their wings.

Dedicated to people I never knew
and yet I have loved.

ANGELS

Angels are the guardians of hope and wonder, the keepers of magic and dreams. Wherever there is love, an angel is flying by. Your guardian angel knows you inside and out and loves you just the way you are. Angels keep it simple and always travel light. Remember to leave space in your relationships so the angels have room to play. Your guardian angel helps you find a place when you feel there is no place to go. Whenever you feel lonely, a special angel drops in for tea. Angels are with you every step of the way and help you soar with amazing grace. After all, we are angels in training; all we have to do is spread our wings and fly.
