| Hi! I'm Scully, and we have a new little human at my house. I didn't know humans came in this size. Mommy calls her Christina, but sometimes, she calls her Christina Kellashandra Elaine McLeod! Geesh, I'm glad Mommy only calls me Scully or Sculls. My roommate, Kitten Rugrat, hangs around the new human like I'm gonna attack it or something, but since it is Mommy's kitten, I think I'll just wait until this Christina wants to play to form an opinion of her. |
| Daddy and this other fella, Grampa Best they called him, were really bored waiting for Mommy to have her kitten, so they played with hospital equipment. |
| This is Mommy's friend, Karen - she helped Mommy get through the waiting time before her kitten was supposed to come out. Mommy calls her Christina's Auntie Karen, but she isn't really Mommy's sister. |

| This is Daddy and Nana Dupuis. This is the funny, horseshoe shaped place where all of Mommy's helpers spent most of the waiting time. It was a loooooong time. No matter how hard Mommy and Christina tried, Chris just couldn't get out - Mommy is just too small. So the doctor's at the hospital had to make a cut in Mommy's tummy and take kitten Christina out that way. She had a funny shaped head from waiting so long, but the swelling is all gone now. |

Grandpa Dupuis came for a few hours in the middle of the night, but then he had to get some sleep and go to work. He hates to wait. He came to tell Mommy to get some sleep after she and Christina had been working hard all day trying to get that kitten out! Mommy was a good girl and went to sleep for her Daddy, just like when she was a kittten and would keep Nana up until Grandpa came home and sung her to sleep. Uncle Lionel and Aunt Barbara don't like hospitals. And they didn't want to see Mommy in pain, either. But they came over to see Christina later after she got home. I think Aunt Barbara feels the same as I do, that she will be more fun when she gets older. This is Grampa and Gramma Best. They stayed around all the time Mommy was in the "labour and delivery" part of the hospital. Gramma is Daddy's mommy - she is a nice lady and she really likes Christina - getting Mommy all kinds of things to help take care of her. She cried and smiled at the same time when she saw Christina. Humans are funny that way sometimes. Grampa isn't Daddy's daddy, but he gets to be his daddy, and Christina's grampa now. He likes her alot too and couldn't stop smiling. |
