Mew's Christmas

CHAPTER ONE
"Mew get up!" Mew slowly opened her eyes to see her mom staring angrily at her. "Have you forgotten that it's Christmas Eve? We have to go to
church!" Mew flew out of bed and with her psychic powers made her bed perfectly. She walked downstairs and got a bowl of cereal. "Eat fast. We're already late." Mew gobbled up her cereal as fast as she could. She ate so fast she got the hiccups. She ran to get a glass of water and drank it down. Then she went with her mom to go to church. They walked silently in and
Mew went into a back room. She was going to be in a play for the church. She was dressed as an angel when she came out. The only problem was that her halo
kept tilting. When the play was finished they sang songs. When church was finished Mew walked with her mom back to the house. They washed up and got ready
to go to a party with all of Mew's relatives. "Oh I almost forgot." Mew's mom said. "What is it Mama Mew?" Mew asked. "We have to go and pick up baby Togepi for you to take care of." "Oh, no." Mew thought. The last time they invited Togepi somewhere was to a fancy restaurant on Thanksgiving Day. Mew's mom had told her to watch him. A whole mess of chaos happened. Togepi
had decided to wander off on his own and Mew had to go find him. First he went into the kitchen where he was mistaken as an egg and put on a plate. Poor Mew had to rescue him before an Ekans ate him. Then he was served as soup to a Sandslash and Mew had to save him once again. No telling what would happen. All Mew knew was, it wasn't going to be an easy Christmas.
CHAPTER TWO
Mew had to think fast. She couldn't baby-sit Togepi all by herself! "I know! I'll call up Pikachu. He'll help me." She picked up the phone and dialed Pikachu's number. "Come on answer!" "Hello?" Pikachu said. "Hey Pikachu, it's me, Mew!" "Oh, hi Mew!" "Listen, can I ask you a favor?" "Sure." "Will you help me baby-sit Togepi?" "You've got to be kidding!" "Pleeaassee!" "No, Mew! Remember Halloween? Remember Easter? Remember the 4th of July?!" Mew remembered how Togepi set off fireworks and burned a whole house down. Pikachu and Mew practically got their tails burned off. "Uh uh. The answer is no." Then he hung up. "Oh, man." Mew said. "I'll call Mankey." She dialed Mankey's number. "Hello?" Mankey said. "Mankey? It's me, Mew. Can you help me baby-sit Togepi tonight?" "Are you crazy? Remember New Years?! You're making me go into one of my fits!" Mew quickly hung up. She called everyone she knew. Scyther, Weepinbell, Squirtle, Nidorino, Abra, Vulpix and Sandshrew. But every answer was no. Mew was getting desperate. She had only one more Pokemon to call. She dialed the number. "Hello?" "Hi Snubble? It's Mew. Will you help me take care of Togepi tonight?" Mew held her breath. "Sure. Why not?" She exhaled. "Thank you sooooo much! Come over at three sharp! Bye!" "Bye!" Then she hung
up. She flew to her room and sat in front of her mirror. She opened a drawer and put on eyeliner and glitter. When she was finished, she looked beautiful.
"Mew!" She heard her mother shout. "We're going to go pick up Togepi now!" "Okay, Mom!" Mew and her mother went to Togepi's house and rang the doorbell. They were greeted by a very cheerful Kangaskhan. "Thank you for baby-sitting Togepi tonight." Kangaskhan said. "Oh, it's nothing. Really." Mew said. Kangaskhan patted her pouch and Togepi popped out. She handed Togepi to Mew's mother. "Now you be good!" Kangaskhan said cheerfully. They turned around and headed back to their house. "Why are we going back to the house again
Mew?" her mother asked. "To pick up Snubble. He said he'd help me baby-sit Togepi." "Oh, how nice of him." Sure enough, when they reached the house, Snubble was waiting on the porch. "Hi Mew!" He greeted. "Hi Snubble!" She greeted back. "Well, let's get going." When they got to the party, all of Mew's relatives were there. She hugged and kissed everyone. She was so happy, until her mother reminded her she had Togepi to take care of. "Now remember, it's your responsibility to make sure Togepi doesn't get into any trouble."
Mew's mother told them. She set Togepi on the floor and went to greet the relatives. Mew turned to talk to Snubble. "How are we going to take care of Togepi?" "Let's start by watching him." Snubble said. Mew turned around to see that Togepi had disappeared! "Well, this is off to a good start." Mew said. "At least no one got a broken bone yet." "I think this is a new record!" Snubble laughed, trying to make everything cheerful. Mew didn't even smile. Then they started the search for Togepi.
