Pikachu's Halloween

CHAPTER ONE
"Mom!" Pikachu yelled. "Are you done with my costume yet?" "Just a second Pikachu. I'm putting on the finishing touches." Pikachu paced back and forth with his hands behind his back. His mom had been working for three days on his costume. He was going to be a Jack O' Lantern for Halloween. "There, all done." his mother announced. "I thought you'd never finish." he said. "You'd better hurry or you'll be late for the
Halloween dance." his mother said. "Oh. I almost forgot. Charmander's Halloween party." He grabbed his costume and ran into his bedroom and slipped it
on. Then he heard a knock at the door. "Pikachu!" his mother called. "Gloom's here!" He raced to the door and answered it. Standing there was his friend Gloom, dressed as a Pokemon trainer. "Wow, cool costume." Pikachu said. "Yeah, my mom spent weeks working on it." Gloom replied. "We better get going. I think the dance already started." Pikachu said as he hurried
out the door. "Bye mom!" he yelled. "Bye Pikachu! Have fun! And stay out of trouble!" she yelled back. "Oh, I will." he replied. So Pikachu and Gloom headed to the dance. But they should have known that on a night like
this, you can't stay out of trouble.
CHAPTER TWO
When Pikachu and Gloom had finally gotten to the party, it had already started. "Great, we're late." Gloom complained. "It'll be all right. We're not
that late." Pikachu replied. "Yes, but, are we ever going to go inside?" Gloom asked Pikachu, pointing at the door. "Oops, sorry." Pikachu opened the door and they gave a Cubone their invitations. "Wow, that Cubone made his body to match his head." Pikachu said. "I don't think I've ever seen a skeleton Pokemon before." Gloom laughed. Pikachu ignored him, then
said, "Hey, look, there's Charmander! I could spot her anytime with the flame on her tail." They walked over to Charmander, who was dressed up like a princess. "Hey Charmander! What's up?" Pikachu asked. "Oh, I'm just enjoying this party. Whoa! Cool costume Gloom!" "Yeah, my mom dressed me as a trainer." Pikachu suddenly had an idea." Hey Gloom and me..." "Gloom and I." Charmander corrected him. "Gloom and I will show you a good time. Let's go through the scary old woods." "Yeah! It'll be fun." Gloom agreed. "Okay! I
guess I could let someone else be in charge for a while. Hey Machamp! Wartortle! Scyther! Golem! Victreebel! Watch over the party for me, will you?
I'm going to run some errands." And with that, Charmander ran out of the house.

CHAPTER THREE
"Why are these woods supposed to be scary again?" Charmander asked. "They're said to be haunted by a ghost." Pikachu grinned. "Cool! A ghost of what?" she asked. "A ghost of an Articuno." Gloom said. "Oooh." Charmander said. "You don't actually believe in this, do you?" she asked. "It is said that if a Pokemon goes in, they won't come out. They will
turn into the living dead." Pikachu said. "So are they living or dead?" Gloom questioned. Pikachu gave him a long hard stare. A brilliant flash of lighting lit over them. They jumped and panicked. They kept running forward until they realized there was no danger. They looked, and saw that they had arrived at the entrance of the woods. For a second Pikachu thought that he saw a strange figure above the trees. He spaced out, thinking if that story about the Articuno was true. Gloom slapped him in the back of the head. "Ow!" he yelped. "What did you do that for?" he asked. "You were staring out into space again. It kind of gets annoying after awhile." Gloom shrugged. They walked forward into the woods. "Scared yet, Charmander?" Gloom grinned. "Not a bit." Just then, they heard a rustling. "What was that?" Pikachu asked. "I don't want to stop to find out." Charmander said. The moon shone brightly above them, but was soon blocked out by a cloud. It became pitch black. "This is just like a horror movie I once saw." Charmander said. "It didn't have a happy ending." "That really cheers me up." Pikachu said sarcastically. They walked for about an hour. Then Gloom asked, "Do you know the way back, Pikachu?" "Uh, um..." "Well?!" Gloom shouted. "Uh, no." "What?!" Gloom said, starting to get frightened. "Hey! Stop fighting! We can find our way back. What time is it?" Charmander asked. "Pokemon can't wear watches." Pikachu pointed out. Gloom was staring up. "Hey, guys?" he said. "Look up." Pikachu and Charmander did what Gloom said. They were suprised at what they saw. A ghost Articuno.
