CHAPTER ONE: THE MEETING
My name is Brian. And I was late. Boy was I late. I was running up to Professor Oak's lab to get my first Pokemon. I heard that he had started to offer more Pokemon than just Charmander, Bulbasaur and Squirtle. When I got there I was surprised to see my friends Eric, Josh, and Tyler waiting inside for Professor Oak. "What Pokemon are you guys going to pick?" I asked. "Jigglypuff." Tyler said. "Ponyta." Eric said. "Staryu." Josh said, "You?" "I guess I'll start with a Spearow." I replied. "Ahh," Professor Oak said walking in. "I see I have four starting Pokemon trainers that want their first Pokemon. What would you all like?" "Jigglypuff!" Tyler yelled. "Ponyta." Eric said. "Staryu." Josh replied. "Spearow." I answered. He handed us all our Pokemon, Pokeballs, and Pokedexes. "So," Josh said, "any of you three wanna battle for practice?" "I will. Spearow! Go!" I yelled throwing the Pokeball with my Spearow in it. "Spearow! Drill Peck!" I yelled. Spearow swooped down and attacked Staryu. "Staryu! Use your Water Gun!" Josh yelled. Staryu shot a stream of water out at Spearow. "Spearow! Dodge and swoop from behind with Drill Peck!" I yelled. Spearow dodged the Water Gun and swooped down from behind and used Drill peck on Staryu.
"Spearow! Finish it off with Tackle!" I yelled. Spearow dived down and tackled Staryu, finishing it off. "Staryu! Return!" Josh yelled sucking Staryu back into it's Pokeball. "Let's go to McDonalds for dinner, I'm starved." Tyler said. We walked to McDonalds and all ordered Quarter Pounders and fries. While we were sitting down outside eating our dinner we heard something from behind us. "To infect the world with devastation!" "To fight all people within our nation!"
"To annihilate the goodness of truth and love!" "To conquer the stars and planets above!" "Sara!" "Hank!"
"Team Rocket blasting off past the speed of light!" "Surrender now or you'll get quite a fright!" "Jolteon! That's right!" A Jolteon said jumping out from in between them. "Who are you guys?" I asked staring at them. "We are Sara and Hank of Team Rocket." Hank said picking up two Pokeballs. "And we're here to steal your Pokemon! If you resist, we will defeat you!" "Oh yeah? Spearow! Go!" I yelled. "Ponyta! Go!" Eric cried. "Staryu! Let's show them what we're made of!" Josh exclaimed. "Jigglypuff! Let's show them who's boss!" Tyler yelled as we all released our Pokemon. "Raticate! Pinsir! Go!" Hank yelled. "Scyther! Muk! Attack!" Sara yelled. "And don't expect me not to battle!" Jolteon said. "Ponyta! Use your Fire Spin attack now!" Eric yelled. "Ponyta!" Ponita yelled as the fire exited it's mouth and headed straight for Raticate. "Raticate! Dodge it and attack with Super Fang!" Sara screeched. "Raticate!" Raticate yelled, dodging the blast and rushing up behind Staryu. It used Super Fang. "Spearow! Dive down and throw it as hard as possible!" I yelled. Spearow dived down, picked Raticate up, and threw it hard onto the ground. "Pinsir! Use Guillotine on the Staryu while it's weak!" Hank yelled. Pinsir ran up to Staryu and was about to se Guillotine when... "Jigg-aly-y-puff, Jiggaly-y-y-y-puff." Jigglypuff sang. "Ahh! Spearow! Return!" I yelled sucking Spearow back into it's Pokeball so it wouldn't crash. I plugged my ears to drown out Jigglypuff's music. "Night, night mommy." Hank said falling to the ground asleep. Sara and their Pokemon soon followed. "Jigglypuff! Return!" Tyler yelled, sucking Jigglypuff back in to it's Pokeball. I looked at the setting sun. "Looks like they picked a good time for sleep." I said yawning. "Let's find a place to camp for the night." Eric suggested. "That's a good idea, the woods aren't too far away. We should be able to find a nice campsite." Josh said. "How can we camp? We have no fire, and the woods doesn't exactly have a stream of water. We need those for survival in the woods, and what will we do if some aggressive wild Pokemon comes around?" I asked. "We're Pokemon trainers now, remember?" Josh asked. "Ponyta can supply fire, Staryu can supply water and if a wild Pokemon comes long we catch it." "Okay, okay, you proved your point, but let's just get moving okay?" I said. "Okay." "Alright." "I suppose."
CHAPTER TWO
I awoke to the beautiful song of Doduos in the air. Yeah, right. I wish. I awoke to the sight of a Beedrill hovering above me. "AAAAAHHHH!" I yelled, reaching for the Pokeball with my Ponyta in it. "Ponyta! Go! Ponyta! Flamethrower now!" A stream of flames shot from Ponyta's mouth to the Beedrill. That was a bad decision, because you see, that made the Beedrill mad. REALLY mad. As in so mad it attacked Ponyta rapidly with its Twineedle attack. "Ponyta! Use Agility, followed by a quick kick to the head!" I yelled. Ponyta dodged the Twineedle attack and kicked the Beedrill in the head. Hard. "Pokeball! Go!" I yelled, throwing my Pokeball at the fainted Beedrill. I turned around and saw Eric, Tyler, and Brian sleeping so soundly, you would of thought that Tyler's Jigglypuff had gotten loose. "AARRGGHH!" I yelled. "WAKE UP!" "Huh? What? Who? Where? Yes?" Brian said, not too brightly. "I was just nearly killed by a Beedrill, and you all slept through it!" I yelled. "That's nice." Tyler said, rolling over. "So what's your point?" "AARRGGHH!" "Oh, by the way," Brian said, rubbing the sleep out of his eyes, "who wants to go searching for Pokemon today?" "Sounds OK." I said.
* * *
We were out looking for wild Pokemon, hoping to see something worth capturing. "Hey! A Pikachu! I m gonna catch it!" Brian said. "Spearow! Go! Spearow! Use Whirlwind!" Brian yelled. Spearow caused a whirlwind that picked the Pikachu up off the ground and threw it at a tree. "Pikachuuuu!" the Pikachu moaned, dazed. "Pokeball! Go!" Brian yelled, throwing the Pokeball. The circle in the center of the Pokeball turned red, and the ball started to shake. It shook a bit longer, then calmed down. The circle in the center turned white once again. "Spearow! Return!" Brian yelled. "I'll have to go into town today. Our Pokemon could use a nice rest at the Pokemon Center." he said. We walked a bit and came to the Pokemon Center. Nurse Joy walked up and asked how she could help us. "We just need you to heal our Pokemon." I said, handing her our Pokeballs. She took the Pokeballs, and we walked away to look at a large poster in the waiting room. "Hmm, it says here that if you go around collecting Badges from Gym Leaders, you can use the Badges as proof of being good enough at training Pokemon to enter the Pokemon League." Brian said. "The Pokemon League? As in the best Pokemon trainers around? I'm there!" Tyler said. "Pewter City isn't too far from here, and it says on the poster there is a Gym there. Should we head over there?" I asked. "Sounds good to me." Brian replied.
CHAPTER THREE
We were on our way to Pewter City when we came across a field full of wild Pokemon of all shapes and types. "I know we already went out to catch Pokemon today, but this opportunity is too hard to pass up." Brian said, eyeing a Golduck. "That sounds like a good idea, Brian." Eric said. "Let's catch a few. Oh! A Charmander! Staryu! Go! Staryu! Water Gun!" "Keyah!" said Staryu, spitting a stream of water at the Charmander. "Pikachu! Go! Pikachu! Thunderbolt now!" Brian said. Pikachu jumped up and shot a Thunderbolt straight at Golduck, hitting it square in the chest. "Golduck!" it moaned in pain. "Char, Char, Charmander!" Charmander wailed. "Pokeball! Go!" Brian yelled, throwing the Pokeball and catching Golduck. "Pokeball! Go!" Eric yelled, doing the same. They picked their Pokeballs up and attached them to their belts. "Let's all go catch Pokemon elsewhere, and report back here when we're done." I suggested. "Okay, better than staying here and watching each other battle." Tyler said.
* * *
When we all reported back, we told each other which Pokemon we caught. "I caught a Bulbasaur." Brian said. "A Machoke." I said proudly. "A Geodude and a Growlithe." Tyler reported. "A Seel with an attitude." Eric said, shivering. "He almost hit me with an Ice Beam." "Well, now that we have our Pokemon, let's go to Pewter City." Tyler said.
CHAPTER FOUR
When we got to Pewter City, we entered the Gym and met Brock, the Gym Leader there. "Who will I battle first?" he asked. "I'll go first." I volunteered. "Okay, we will use two Pokemon each." "Geodude! Go!" Brock yelled. "Machoke! Go!" I yelled. "Machoke! Use your Seismic Toss!" "Machoke!" Machoke exclaimed. It grabbed Geodude by the arm, twirled it around a few times, and let go, tossing Geodude into a boulder. "Geoooduuude!" Geodude moaned. "Geodude! Return!" Brock cried, sucking Geodude back into its' Pokeball. "Onix! Go!" he yelled, throwing his Pokeball. Suddenly, a huge, living mass of boulders appeared. "Machoke! Return! Ponyta! Go!" I yelled, at the sight of the huge creature that stood there. "Onix! Rock Throw!" Brock yelled. "Ponyta! Agility, followed by Fire Spin now!" I yelled. Ponyta ran out of the way, and Onix crashed to the ground. Ponyta finished it off with Fire Spin. "Ponyta! Return!" I yelled, holding out my Pokeball. "Onix! Return!" Brock yelled. "I can't battle you others at the moment, I'll need to take my Pokemon to the-" "To infest the world with devastation." "To fight all people within our nation." "To annihilate the goodness of truth and love." "To conquer the planets and stars above." "Sara." "Hank." "Team Rocket, blasting off past the speed of light." "Surrender now, or get quite a fright." "Jooolllteon, that's right!" "Team Rocket again!? What have we done to have to face your utter stupidity again?" I asked. "Just lucky, I guess." Jolteon said. "Now hand over your Pokemon, or we'll be forced to hurt you." Hank said. "Not in your lifetime, pal! Spearow! Go! Pikachu! Go! Bulbasaur! Go! Golduck! Go!" Brian yelled. "Beedrill! Go! Ponyta! Go! Machoke! Go!" I yelled. "Staryu! Charmander! Seel! Let's show them who's giving who a fright!" Eric yelled. "Growlithe! Geodude! Jigglypuff! Show them what we're made of!" Tyler yelled. "Raticate! Scyther! Attack!" Hank yelled. "Pinsir! Muk! Let's get 'em!" Sara yelled. "You know Hank, they DO outnumber us. Do you think we should pull out the Pokegas?" Sara then asked. "That's a good idea." Hank said, pulling out what looked like a bazooka. "This bazooka shoots out a gas that makes humans think they're Magikarp, and puts Pokemon to sleep." Jolteon said, entering his Pokeball. "Scyther! Raticate! Return!" Hank yelled, sucking them back into their Pokeballs. "Pinsir! Muk! Return!" Sara yelled. "Call back your Pokemon!" Brian yelled. "I have a better idea." I said. "Ponyta! Attack!" Ponyta ran behind Team Rocket and set them ablaze. "Pikachu! Thunderbolt now!" Brian yelled. "Pikachuuu!" Pikachu yelled, as its electricity headed for Team Rocket. "Charmander! Ember attack!" Eric yelled. "Char! Char! Charmander!" "Muk! Pinsir! Who told you to get back in your Pokeball!?" Sara said, throwing her Pokeballs. "Pinsir! Guillotine!" "Jigglypuff! Doubleslap!" Tyler yelled. "Jiggly!" Jigglypuff said, using Doubleslap on Pinsir, stopping its attack. "Jigglypuff! Metronome attack!" Tyler yelled. A blast of fire escaped Jigglypuff's mouth and headed straight for Pinsir. "Raticate! Scyther! Go get 'em before they do any damage! You too, Jolteon!" Hank yelled. "Spearow! Whirlwind!" Brian yelled. Spearow flapped its wings, causing a large whirlwind to appear. It hit Team Rocket, throwing them and their Pokemon high into the air. "Bulbasaur, Ponyta, Pikachu, Seel, Charmander, and Growlithe! Give them one final attack to remember us by!" we yelled. A blast of leaves, electricity, fire, and water hit them, sending them far away. "Looks like Team Rocket's blasting off again!" they all yelled.
CHAPTER FIVE
It was the next day. Brock had given each of us a Boulder Badge because of our excellent victory over Team Rocket. "So, where's the next Gym?" Brian asked. "Some place called Cerulean City." I replied. "Well, let's get going, then!" Tyler yelled, running ahead. The others happily followed him. "Hey! Wait up! You guys don't even know the way back!" I yelled, running after them.
CHAPTER SIX
"Jigglyyyy!" My Jigglypuff moaned hungrily. "I think we need to by some food for our Pokemon." Brian said. "Spearow seems like he could eat worms all day, and the rest of my Pokemon are about to faint due to hunger." "Well, where are we supposed to get food for them?" Josh asked. "We've been lost for days! It's not like we're going to run right into a town now, is it?" We exited a patch of trees, and were suddenly surrounded by buildings and shops of all shapes and sizes. "You were saying, Josh?" Eric teased. "Okay, maybe we WILL run in right into a town, I've been wrong before." Josh said. "Well, let's look for a place to get a bite to eat." I said. "This looks like a nice place," Brian said, "Pokefood, restaurant of Pokemon and people alike." "Hmm, this seems like a nice place, but...can we afford it?" I asked. "It's free!" A woman suddenly walked up to us, yelling in our ears. "Free, if you're Pokemon trainers, that is. Your Pokemon's food is free as well. I'm Sara-err, Sandra, and my co-worker Hank, I mean Helix, and pet Jolteon and I are the owners of this restaurant." "Well, that's fine with us!" Eric said, sitting down at a table. "Seel! Charmander! Staryu! Go! Now, what do you three want from the Pokemon menu?" he asked. Charmander pointed to a picture of a steak so well done, it looked like a crisp. Seel waved his tail at a picture of a frozen solid, raw fish. Staryu didn't seem to be hungry. "Jigg." Jigglypuff said, looking at the human menu. "Jiggly! Jiggly Jigg puff Jigglypuff puff!" it said. I pointed my Pokedex at it to translate. "I want that cake and a bit of pizza and better let me have a cheeseburger and ooh what's that?" it translated. "Good thing it's free." I said, rolling my eyes. "Geo dude. Geodude. Dude geo." My Geodude said. "I'll just have some rocks and a bit of sparkling water." it translated. "Ruff! Ruff! Gggrrr! Ruff!" Growlithe ordered. "Dog biscuits, please, with a side of kibble." it translated. "Spearow! Golduck! Pikachu! Bulbasaur! Go!" Brian yelled. "Bulba! Bulba! Saur! Bulbasaur! Saur Bulba!" Bulbasaur yelled. Brian picked his Pokedex up and heard; "Some flies on a silver platter with a few cups of pesticide." "Oh boy." Brian moaned. "Speeeaaaarrrrrrr!" Spearow screeched, which translated to: "Just a bucket of worms and a cup of water." "Golduck! Duck gol! Gooolll!" Golduck said, which translated to: "Well, how about a few maggots and roaches?" "Pika! Pika pi! Pikachu! Chu!" which came out as: "Just a bit of cheese." "Ponyta, you don't even have to tell me what you want." Josh said. "You're a horse, and horses like oats. So oats is what you get." "BBBBZZZZ!" Beedrill said, which translated into: "Some honey, with a touch of nectar." Our food came shortly after.
CHAPTER SEVEN
After lunch, we decided to go the Pokemon Mart. We began looking around for stuff we needed. "Let's get some Super Potions, and a Thunder Stone so I can evolve Pikachu." Brian said. "I do need a Fire and Moon Stone." I said. "I need a Water Stone for Staryu so I'll have a better chance of beating Misty, and I could use a few Great and Safari Balls." Josh said. "And I'll take a Water Stone for Seel!" said Eric. When we were finished, we had a case of Super Potions, five Evolution Stones, 10 Great Balls, 6 Safari Balls, and a couple other things. "Tyler, what are you going to do with a talking, singing, Doubleslapping plush Jigglypuff toy?" Brian asked me. "Well, what are YOU going to do with a Charizard flamethrower/jet pack?" I asked. "I plan on using it next time we-" I didn't hear the rest, because we all fell asleep.
CHAPTER EIGHT
I awoke chained to a stone wall. "Huh? Where am I?" I asked. My friends were around me, but...my Pokemon were gone! "My Pokemon are gone!" I yelled. "What!?" Brian yelled. He looked down and saw that his Pokemon were missing as well. "What happened?" Josh asked. "I think I know." Eric said. "Those waiters were really Hank and Sara of Team Rocket, and they put something in our food to make us fall asleep! While we were sleeping, they stole our Pokemon and put us here!" "Great, so how do we get out of here?" I asked. "They may have stolen our Pokemon, but we have something we can use instead." Brian grinned. "Which is?" I asked. "My flamethrower/jet pack, and your talking, singing, Doubleslapping plush Jigglypuff." he responded.
* * *
"I've almost melted my chains." Brian yelled. There was a loud "clang!" Brian stood up straight. "Now, I'll free you guys." "Brian, that would take firepower and time, and I don't want to risk my life. Free Tyler, so we'll have lots of firepower." Josh said. "Or, I could just take Tyler's toy." said Brian. "We'd have lots of firepower." He took my toy, and now he'll tell the rest.
CHAPTER NINE
I used my flamethrower to burn the doorknob off, and kicked the dungeon door down. I took in my surroundings, and realized we were in Team Rocket Headquarters. I walked down the gleaming white, brightly lit halls. I walked into a room labled "Pokemon." I was shocked at the unclean conditions, and tiny cages filled with Pokemon of all shapes and sizes. I spotted an odd-looking Pokemon. "I think you're a Bug type." I said. "I am a Fire, Poison, Bug, Electric, and Flying Pokemon." it replied. "What on earth?" I asked. That was a bad idea, because Sara, Hank, and Jolteon heard me. "Look, it's the brat! How nice to see you! Too bad we won't see you for long!" Hank sneered. "To infest the world with devastation." "To fight all people within our nation." "To annihilate the goodness of truth and love." "To conquer all stars and planets above!" "Sara!" "Hank!" "Team Rocket, blasting off past the speed of light!" "Surrender now, or get quite a fright!" "Jooolteeeon! That's right!" "Oh, so you think you'll beat me? Well, think again!" I yelled, turning my flamethrower on. "AHHHHHH!" Hank yelled as it hit him. "Muk! Go!" Sara yelled. "Sludge attack on the fuel tank!" "Jigglypuff! Use your Doubleslap action!" I yelled. "Jiggly!" it said in a computerized voice. Muk just oozed over it and kept going. "Um, okay, let's see you hadle this!" I yelled, turning my flamethrower on. "Muuuuuk!" it yelled in utter, horrible agony and pain. "Now, it's your turn!" I yelled, pointing the nozzle at the others. "Let these Pokemon go, or face my wrath!" "What will you do to us?" asked Sara. "We have a little weapon against your flamethrower. We call it 'the Wartortle Patrol.' We use them in case of a fire. They are loyal employees, and are lead by a Blastoise. Here they come right now!" A Blastoise, followed by a group of Wartortle, entered. "Hydro Pump now!" Hank yelled. The group used Hydro Pump on my flamethrower, but that didn't matter. I was out of gas already. My pack stopped hovering. "Ow!" I yelled, falling to the ground. "Uh-oh. I'm surrounded, with no lines of defense except this Jigglypuff! Sing!" "Jiggalypuff, Jiggalyyypuff. Jiggalypuff, Jiggallyyyypuff." I covered my ears just in time, as everyone fell asleep. I took Sara's keys and set all the Pokemon free. Tyler will tell you the rest.
CHAPTER TEN
Brian ran in, followed by our Pokemon. Other Pokemon were racing through the halls. "Here are your Pokeballs!" he yelled, throwing them at our feet. "Now let's get out of here!" We used our Pokemon to break our chains, and ran out. The other Pokemon left the building quickly. All but one. An odd-looking Pokemon was following Brian. I pulled out my Pokedex and pointed it at the Pokemon. "No information on this Pokemon found yet." it said. "Well Brian, it looks like you've got a new pet!" Josh grinned. "What's your name, little Pokemon?" Brian asked, kneeling down so he was at its eye level. "Fiiiiireeefit!" it yelled. "Firefit? Interesting name. I think you're the one I met in the factory." said Brian. "It has the middle half of a Beedrill, the head of a Venomoth, and a glowing abdomen." "I was created by Team Rocket." it suddenly said. "I am extremely quick and silent, and can become invisible, so they were going to use me for their own evil. However, I want to be good and law abiding. So, I followed you, because by setting us all free, you proved to be a good and kind person. So, I would like more than anything to join your group." "Yeah! Of course! Welcome to the group!" Brian laughed. "Good to have you along." grinned Josh. "Looks like we have a new comrade...and friend." I finished.
