Mewthree

AUTHOR'S NOTE: I got "Minako" and "Mina" from Sailor Moon, and I always thought of them, what it would be like for them and Ash to be together, instead of Ash winding up with an annoying old hag like Misty.
CHAPTER ONE
"Misty, I don't see why you wanna dye your hair black! Don't you always say 'it's not good to change your natural hair color?'" Ash and friends were having a camping party by a lake, to celebate Ash's 2nd time in the Pokémon League. "Maybe if you had red hair, you'd see why!" "Misty, you're so annoying!" "Ash, Misty, CHILL!" yelled Brock. In the confusion, a Pokémon was having a hard time getting sleep. "How dare those unwary travellers wreck my sleep with all that fighting and yelling! They should know better!" the Pokémon yelled. "I shall make one tree fall down as a warning..." CRASH! The group stared at the tree, confused. "How can a tree fall down by itself? I didn't hear any chainsaws." Misty said, breaking the silence. "Of course you didn't hear any chain saws! We
are the only people here, by law!" Ash replied. "Maybe there's someone breaking the law, Mr. Knowitall!" Misty yelled. "I gave those travellers a chance, but this is too much!" the Pokémon continued. Suddenly, the lake's rapids started thrashing. The whole forest, next to the lake, fell down, leaving a big circle of trees, with a gap being covered with a blanket made of
leaves, like an entrance, and a small hole on the top of the circle of trees, which was covered with thick sticks, tied together. "What is this place?" Ash asked. "I don't know, but I do know it's creepy." Misty said. "This is your last chance!" the Pokémon said, anger rising. "Is that a Pokémon talking to us?" asked Ash. Misty pulled out her newly-bought Pokédex. "Mewthree, a genetic Pokémon. If encountered, please..." BOOOM! The Pokédex blew up! "Ummm...Ash, Brock? I think we better get out of here...fast!" Misty yelled. "I agree with you, so let's go!" Ash yelled. Suddenly, a big ivory bubble surrounded them. They were trapped! "You will not run from me!" a voice
yelled. "I am Mewthree! Feel my power!"
CHAPTER TWO
Ash didn't care what Mewthree said. He ran out of the bubble and ran 3 miles before he collapsed. "Huh...wha? Where am I?" Ash asked as he gazed around a dusty room. Man, this seems like an abandoned mansion...he thought. Ash just couldn't understand. Why was he here? How did he get here? Questions
raced through his mind. He sat up, only to find himself in a bed. He saw a few nurses, but he didn't know a thing until a nurse greeted him. "Hi, I'm Mina, your main nurse." she said. "Excuse me, but who am I? What is this place? What happened?" he asked, dazed. But she didn't answer. Mina quickly took out a radio
and said, "I need 5 nurses, case 17 of Amnesia 61!"
Ash just sat there in silence after Mina left. All he could do was think back. All he could remember was a silver beam, a blinding light, a figure, and an angel. Where did it all lead? Would he ever find out? His head throbbed with pain. He looked at the clock. It
was 10:05. Oh, well. Maybe the pain will be gone if I get some rest. he thought. But he was wrong...for Mewthree paid an unexpected visit. Poor child, Mewthree thought, it is my own fault. He then vanished. Things will change...he thought.
CHAPTER THREE
Ash woke up. "Grrrr! It's 3:00?! So much for the 'Sleep and it'll go away' theory. My head still hurts. But where was Misty at that time? I know Brock was there...but...OH! I can't think about that now!" He went back to bed. Soon, an angel of a girl with blond hair and a red ribbon woke him up. "Hmmm...GAH!" He fell backwards on the bed. "Try...try to remember the past...6 1/2 years ago..." the image whispered.
"6 1/2 years ago..." Ash's head ached just from trying to remember. "I remember that I was still in school, and I had a few friends. I can't remember their names...and one true friend. A friend my age, and we studied Pokémon together...but I can't remember him! I have to go find out!" Just then, all 8 nurses piled in, and the white figure disappeared. Ash dashed
out the door. "What's wrong with him?" one nurse asked. "Oh, he must be an adventurous one. He must be looking for my younger sister. She was born at the
EXACT same time as him...he'll figure it out. They were friends in school..." Mina trailed off.

Ash came up to a lake. It was the one with Mewthree. He looked around, making sure he was safe. He
looked straight, Mewthree was staring him in the face. He moved back, and Mewthree laughed. "Come here. I happen to know who you are looking for." he said. "You...YOU DO?" Ash asked in excitement. Suddenly, Mewthree made it night. "It shall be night for 1
week. A better chance to find your friend." he said. "I have 2 questions first. One, how is night supposed to help me find him?" Ash asked. "Your friend is out at night to see rare nocturnal Pokemon." Mewthree answered. "OK. Two, is my friend a male or a female?" Ash asked his 2nd question. "I shall keep that a secret." Mewthree snickered. "ALL RIGHT! I GOTTA FIND HIM!" Ash said loudly. "You're one hyper boy, aren't you?" Mewthree laughed. "You're right!" a voice said. "Is...is that Team Rocket?" Mewthree and Ash both said.
CHAPTER FOUR
A figure was standing on the highest rock in their direction. "Mewthree, you are...Ashton Ketchum!" The figure threw itself into Ash's arms. "What?"
Ash asked. "I'm Minako, your friend from school!" The figure yelled. "MINAKO! I'VE BEEN LOOKING ALL OVER FOR YOU!" Ash yelled. He spun her around and hugged her again. "I haven't seen you in years!" Minako said. Back, behind the trees, Misty was watching the reunion. "Her skin is as soft as silk...and her voice like music...I think I'm in love..." Ash whispered. Misty could sense what he was thinking. "HOLD IT, MINAKO! I'M GONNA KILL YOU!" Misty said angrily. Mewthree quickly floated in front of the couple, 5 feet away. "You shall NOT disturb the reunion." Mewthree said calmly. "Who said I wouldn't?!" Misty shot back. "It's like a game of ping-pong." Ash sighed. PING! "You'll have to get past me!" PONG! "I'll do that!" PING! "You CAN'T get past me, you know." PONG! "I have powers just as good as yours..." Silence. Mewthree had missed the ball. "It's the end of me..." Ash started. Then, Minako tied on a midnight black cloak. She handed Ash one too. "Put it on." she urged. He did, and Misty went on. "Ash, I'm going to hurt you!" "Ashton is not going to get hurt!" Minako called. "1...2...3!" They proceeded to do a triple backflip at the same time, and soon found themselves...FLYING!
CHAPTER FIVE
"It's amazing! We're FLYING!" Ash cheered. "I learned how to do this after you left." Minako answered. Silence. "I didn't want to leave..." Ash started, and then cut off. "I know..." she said. "Friends forever?" "Friends forever!" They shook hands.
"Now to find Mewthree, I want to catch him!" She winked at him. "Hah! Let's GO!" He winked back.
