ADVANCE NOTICE
I intend to eBay, sell, trade, dumpster these items. I simply haven't had time to do the ads or work out what they're worth yet. If I have an idea what I want for it it's given. Some items are not tested. Some I'm waiting on the parts to do an upgrades and then I will be offering my "leftovers" for sale on ebay (or elsewhere). I will test (if untested) on inquiry (if the part is worth enough to justify my time). I will hear offers for these items until they are actually listed somewhere. Don't waste my time with unrealistic offers please. (Can you tell I don't have much time for fooling around??)

The "PRE-DUMP BIN"
These have been selected for disposal. They are bad, untested, or unpopular. I don't have time to test everything. Placed here for restorers or hobbyists that may have a use for them. For PC restorers/collectors I will disassemble for small parts.
Robotics enthusiasts should consider the HDDs and FDDs (motors and servos).
Electronics nuts don't overlook the mainboards and other PCB items for components.
Unless otherwise stated these items will be $1 or $2 plus postage if I can use USPS for the item. If I must use UPS due to size/weight it will be $5 plus shipping.

    TRANSACTIONS
  • All transactions are via email - I'm a phone hater.
  • Payment by PayPal (prefered) or money order (by mail)
  • My choice of shipping method.
  • Once an item is listed on an auction site it's only available by winning that auction.
  • If you send me something I have to sign for it can delay the transaction by as much as a week. I am often not able to get to the Post Office that my incoming mail goes through during the week.
  • UPS and FedEx have trouble catching me at home.
  • Shipping (outbound) goes to a different Post Office - near my work.
    EMAIL / CONTACT
  • I don't always do email daily and I get tons of it.
Don't get frustrated, I will get back to you as soon as I can.
  • I generally don't answer emailed general (non-transaction) questions unless I happen to know the answer off the top of my head. (To minimize email)
Those type questions are what the forum is for.
  • People that send me 3 or 4 useless emails a day piss me off. (Like the one that asked 3 times in 24 hours if I received payment (by mail) yet - how often do you get mail?) I have enough to keep up with as it is. I typically receive 20-30 emails a day which requires an hour or more to go through(with the associated administrative tasks). Overloading my email account wastes time I'd rather spend getting more parts tested and listed.
    TESTING
  • If I say "tested" it means diagnostics were run on it (way more than just powering it up).
  • If I say "working" it means I at least powered it up and used it in a normal manner.
    SHIPPING
  • I will generally use USPS priority mail. This is my choice.
  • Delivery confirmation or tracking of some sort is always used.
  • If you want insurance add the funds. I pack well. I will not be liable for shipping damage. Insurance is your option/responsibility.
  • My time is spread pretty thin. Shipping will be in days, not hours, of receiving Payment (Actually it's usually next or second day but I won't guarantee that).
    YARD SALE
  • This essentially my PC parts Yard Sale.
  • You don't get warranties at Yard Sales and you don't get them here.
  • Unless specifically stated otherwise these items are sold as is.
  • Sorry to be hard nosed, I can't afford to have someone I don't know break something and want their money back.
  • I've had very few problems. Check my eBay feedback rating.
