Prophetic Writings
A Dove so innocent, gentle, meek
such purity it represents. Yet its
symbolism is way much more than the
knowledge of man can grasp hold of.
For you see it is symbolic of the living
Spirit of God.
You see the Dove swept down (rested)
upon Jesus (the Word) in flesh and caused
the windows of heaven to be opened that
Jesus could see and hear the will of His
Father (by spirit and not word only). He
set an example (the path) in which we
were to surpass through His Spirit (the
Holy Spirit). From that day forth the
Holy Spirit led Jesus into the wilderness
to be proven (tried and tested) that He
could be empowered with not only the word
in flesh but in Spirit. To walk after
the Spirit and not the flesh. Being
tried and tested (proven) in the wilderness
was not just to become an overcomer of the
devil. Yet it proves much more than
that. But to allow the Holy Spirits fruit
to be grown. That He may produce the
very nature of His within' us. Love, joy,
peace, patience (an even temper, for-
bearance), kindness, goodness, faith-
fulness, gentleness (meekness, humility),
self-control (self-restraint, continence).
There is much of these fruits that we
need to allow to be grown in us that we
may impact not only our own lifes but
others as well!
