Refrigerator Poetry

We have a magnetic poetry set on our fridge. It's great fun; I highly recommend it. Almost everyone who visits us whips up some generally meaningless crap on our fridge door. I thought I'd share some of them, largely because they're weird and that fits right in here.
Ring once into the cavern blue
and linger some for echoes true
Sound of oceans thunder here
raise free lonely songs which disappear
~Caroline

My cat of gold
an odd silhouette
Dare night behold
her daffodil nose?
~Mia

Wonder why wisdom weeps
with what white word worry we?
Winter will whirl when whispers wake
why warn world?
I was arranging all the words in alphabetical order so they'd be easier to find, and I had this whole bunch of W's in a corner which tended together.

Gentle ghost pray tell
Does God mock the angels?
Or is it a strange time to
Bare ancient memory?
~Christian

Refrigerator poetry is
naked ache
cream gone mad
pungent mirth
Hollywood symphony
harlot harmony
~Mik

Evening memory
Lightning lips
Surprise symmetry
Shakespeare shipz
We'd run out of S's, so my sister had to use a Z. Adds a sort of light-hearted touch to the poem.

I do not want to remember
lost past forgive me
destroy these tears
they weep for freedom
and burn a cold blaze.
music is a memory
and love, a dead star.
~me

sun send gift light
teeth spontaneous smile
walk quiet dance
rainbow
~Anonymous

You're jumping up to touch the moon
You are not supposed to get involved up there
Something holding you back
That's the sense
But it's your ambition that is crushing you
As you fall
And burst through the asphalt of mind
~Andreas

my love for you
a bright star
lighting the dark sky like a sun
from here I see it is eternal and cannot end
always
as snow falls
ice freezes
through nature's slow cycle
~EAK?!

play hard
get laid
die drunk
~Anonymous

flow diamond flood
moon blood
float on high
firefly
~me again. And no, I do not take illegal substances.

dazzle, laugh and linger long
blaze brilliant, be forever young
pick an angel, melt away
but do not live in blind decay
drink life from the rot
~me. We'd just opened a new poetry set and the words "drink life from the" were already attached. That inspired me. :)
