Barry comes from a family of singers. His dad the late Albert Cook was a lead singer with several quartets in the late 20s and early 30s.His oldest sister,Stella,cousins Beverly Ginn and Wanda Ross made up the singing group NEW BEGINNING in the late 80's. Barry formed the duet "AS ONE" in 1985 and has sung with several groups including "NEW BEGINNING".
He is currently with "OLD TYME GOSPEL SINGERS", Who will be on tour in Europe starting Nov.23rd.He is married to the former Elaine Burila, and is the proud father of three sons and two teenage daughters who are folowing in his footsteps.(singing duet "AS ONE II") Congratulations to Barry on the release and success of his solo album "SIMPLY BC".
