Offspring between the 1999 Billboard Awards winners


December 09, 1999: The 1999 Billboard Music Awards was held last Wednesday night (December 8th) in Los Anegels' MGM Grand Hotel. This event happens every end of year to celebrates the bests in the music scene by the Billboard magazine. The criterion used to define the winners is a combination between the number of record solds and times that the artist was aired on radios worldwide.

The Offspring was nominated as "Modern Rock Artist Of The Year" at the awards, but they weren't able to be there to receive the award due to their tour schedule, the band was playing a concert in Seattle, WA at Mercer Arena along with The Vandals and Teen Idols on Decembet 8th night.

The ceremony was aired on FOX channel and had some live acts.
