Pretty Fly video awarded by Kerrang!

August 24, 1999: The guys from The Offspring are living a real good moment in their careers. The band's latest album Americana is making a huge success worldwide and Dexter could even interview his idol Joey Ramone and receive many praises from him.

Beyond this, the california punk-rock invasion in music scene is arriving now in the awards-world. The Offspring received the award for "Best Video" for "Pretty Fly (For A White Guy)," in the Kerrang! Awards last Monday (August 23rd), in London, England. The band couldn't get the award personally due to their busy tour schedule, but they accepted the honor via video.

The band was still named "Favorite International Act" on another awards, this time on the annual Comet Awards, a German awards, which ceremony was held at Akropolis, in Cologne, Germany last Friday (August 20th).

The Offspring is in a so great phase that they were also nominated for "Artist Of The Year" in the first WB Radio Music Awards. The WB's ceremony will be on October 28th.
