Ike and Kate wasted no time getting in the water. Before you knew it, they were splashing around like a couple of 6-year-olds.

"Ike, quit it..." Kate yelled, "Ow! The chlorine hurts my eyes... ISAAC!"

"Sorry, Kate! I didn’t mean it..." Isaac tried to apologize, but as soon as he got closer to Kate she bounced on him and pulled him under water.

In the distance, a tribal scream was heard "CANNONBALL!" Zac yelled as he ran towards the pool.

"Zac, don't!" Every one yelled, but it was too late. He had jumped into the pool, splashing everyone around him, including Nicki and Taylor who were sitting in their clinging chairs that were sitting five feet from the pool edge.

After 5 min of beats on Zac from every one that was in the pool and Taylor and Nicki we're dried off, Nicki decided to start a conversation with Taylor.

"So, Taylor, you’re 15, right?" Nicki inquired.

"Yeah, I just turned 15 Ma…" Taylor started.

"March 14..." but Nicki cut him off. She smiled at him and he smiled back. "Ya, I know that."

"Ya well, do you have any idea how weird it is to have half the world know your birthday?" Taylor asked.

"No. If it makes you feel any better, mine is April 18."

"Oh. When is your sister’s" Taylor asked remembering Kim.

"Uh, we’re twins..." Nicki raised an eyebrow. "Did you know that?"

Taylor, realizing he just made a dumb mistake, and tried to cover it up fast, "Uh, no, I don’t remember hearing that. But that’s cool."

"Yeah, it kinda is." Nicki said. "So.... Uhhh... wanna go swim?"

"Ya cool!" Taylor exclaimed. With that, Taylor proceeded to stand up and remove his red tee shirt he was wearing and his sneakers.

"Wow!" Nicki thought to herself. 'He has the nicest body. He’s really skinny and actually has the beginning of a nice six pack.... Omigod, Nicki! Just chill! He’s only Taylor Hanson!' Nicki schooled her self, then made a huge smile.

"Nicki? Nicki?" Nicki heard with hands waving in front of her, "Hello? So are you coming with me or what?" Taylor asked.

"Oh yeah. Sorry." Nicki suddenly came to, and they both made their way to the pool.

When they got to the side of the pool they were greeted by, "Bout time you two decided to join us!" Kate exclaimed as she climbed onto Isaac's back for a piggyback ride.

"Ya Tay, I was thinking of getting out and picking you up and throwing you in!" Zac screamed.

"Uhhh... Zac, sorry man, but I don’t think you are strong enough to pick up Tay...." Ike reminded with Kate ion his shoulders.

"So?" Zac pouted, "I could do it if I wanted to. So there!"

"Anyway, Nicki, where’d you get that suit? I love it!" Kate asked.

"Actually, I wore this in one of the fashion shows I was in back in Detroit." Nicki said looking down at witch suit she was really wearing, "The people running it said I looked really good in it and they said I could keep it. It’s an original design by some designer back in Michigan. I don’t know who, but I got a few outfits that way."

"You model?" Ike inquired scanning her body.

"Yeah, I did for a little bit, but then I decided that it wasn’t really my thing. I decided to stick to acting and singing. That’s what I do best."

"You sing? Lemme hear!" Zac suggested.

"Uh…" Nicki began to blush.

"Ya come on!" Every one encouraged her.

"Okay, I guess..." And with this Nicki sang a few bars of 'Weird'.

"Whoa! You sing that better than Tay!" Isaac exclaimed.

"Hey! Whatever, man.... That's my song!" Taylor splashed Isaac sounding a little annoyed.

"I was only kidding Tay. Chill, okay? Anyway, Nicki, you have a really really good voice." Isaac began to hit on Nicki, but as long as Kate and her didn’t know it he was fine with it, but little did he know that Taylor knew what he was doing. "Maybe sometime you could come into the studio with us and jam.

"Are you serious? I’d love that! Wow!" Nicki was shocked.

Taylor was getting a little jealous that his older brother was talking to his 'potential girlfriend' more than he was, which reminded him. "Hey, Zac, what are you doing..." Tay asked, but then he looked over and realized he was interrupting Zac and Chrissy’s 'Who can hold their breath underwater the longest' contest.

"Hey, Ike?" Isaac looked up at Kate to see that she wanted to get down, he let her down to receive a hug, "come here...." Kate said seductively.

"Hmm... How could I say no to that?" Isaac asked and in no time they were kissing.

"Well, looks like they are having fun." Nicki exclaimed smiling to Taylor.

"Yeah, it does." Then Taylor realized that must have sounded like...like he wanted to kiss Nicki, but he did, and he had no clue how to get close enough to her. Isaac had a lot of experience on kissing and how to get close to someone Taylor would have to ask him later about it. Even Zac was kissing someone rather then their mother. Then there was Taylor, older the Zac and had never kissed a girl, unless you counted kissing Mamie in kindergarten.

"Wanna go grab some sodas?" Nicki asked snapping Taylor out of his dream world.

"Ya, sure...." Tay said.

"Ha!" Chrissy said when she came to the surface, then when Zac stopped trying to get the water out of his ears so he could listen to Chrissy brag some more, she went on, "I WON!"

"I let you!" Zac defended his honor.

"Sure you did!" she came closer to Zac who looked like he was going to cry, "Don’t worry though. Next game I'll let you win. Really I will." She pulled a piece of Zac's hair out of his face and put it behind his ear. Zac looked into her eyes and then looked around to see who was watching. When he only say Isaac and Kate in a tonsil hockey tournament, Kate out of the pool and Isaac still in it, he looked back at Chrissy and moved closer to her. Chrissy leaned closer and kissed him long and hard. After Zac returned the kiss, Chrissy released her self and whispered something in Zac's ear.

"Come on!" She said, "Lets see who wins this time."

Nicki and Taylor walked into the Blessing's kitchen after they spent a few minutes on the porch drying off.

"Okay, what do you want?" Nicki asked looking into the fridge.

"Dr. Pepper. I like live on that stuff." Taylor told her.

"Me too! Wow, that’s just one of the many things I am sure we have in common." Nicki said.

"You roller blade?" Taylor inquired.

"Yeah, I have for 6 years."

"Oh. I have for 3 years. Uhh... hmmm... you have a boyfriend?" That was the only thing that was on Taylor's mind right now.

"Wow, you waste no time asking, do you, Taylor Hanson?" Nicki pulled off one of her many sexy smiles.

"Sorry!" Taylor began to wish he hadn't asked, but he really wanted to know, "I was only asking a question...."

"No, it’s okay." Nicki cut him off, "And no, I am single, but I am keeping my eyes open. In fact," She took a seat at the kitchen table and Taylor was soon to follow. "Since I got here, I think I found someone I could seriously see my self with."

Hearing this made Taylor bummed, but also happy in a way thinking that it might be him. "Oh, well, who is it? I might know him."

"I’m pretty sure you do...." Nicki wasn’t going to give her secret out, just yet.

"Who is it then?"

Just before Nicki was about to give some really good hints. "HEY TAY! I WON! I BEAT CHRISSY!" An anxious Zac ran into the kitchen.

"What do you want, a medal?" Taylor asked his younger brother

"Yeah!" Zac joked as he got anther soda out of the fridge.

"Uhhh...Zac? You are kinda making a puddle on the floor..." Nicki pointed out.

"Good job, spaz!" Chrissy said as she walked through the door.

"Ya, whatever.... I still beat you Chrissy!" Zac yelled at her sticking his tough out.

"Jeez, Zac, quiet down." Taylor tried to calm his younger brother.

"Who won the first time you loser?" Chrissy said, as she took the water gun that was behind her and pointed it a Zac's…

"Okay, okay.... I’m leaving now!" Zac shrieked as soon as he saw what was pointing at him and where. He ran past Chrissy, who pushed the trigger and fired water and his butt. Chrissy was soon to fallow and from their all you could hear was Zac screaming 'HELP'.

"Sorry, Nic-"

"Tay, don’t worry about it. I have a little brother who’s the same age." Nicki said in between giggles of what just happened.

"You do?" Tay asked.

"Yeah, his name is Micah. I also have a little brother who’s 9. His name is Jacob. And then there is Maggie, who is not quite a year old yet." Nicki went through almost all of her sibs.

"Maybe we should introduce our brothers...."

"Uh, Tay, do really think putting them together would be safe?"

"Good point. No, I think they will be fine. Zac can be sensible." Taylor thought, adding, "sometimes..."

"Yeah, well, Micah can’t. He’s worse than Zac. Trust me."

"Who cares. It will keep them out of our hair." Tay informed her.

"Another good point. So why don’t you bring Zac over sometime tomorrow. Like, around 1pm?" Nicki said, hopping Taylor wouldn’t reject the offer.

"Yeah, that should be okay. I’ll drag Ike along too. He's not doing anything cause Kate has dance all day."

"She dances?" Nicki was curious.

"I guess so." Taylor said looking at Nicki and then back out the window at his older brother Ike trying to pick up his girlfriend and throw her into the water. Zac and Chrissy case each other around with water guns and hoses. "Man, Ike can be so dumb." Taylor said sarcastically.

"I think he’s cool." Nicki stuck up for Isaac. "It’s cute how he and Kate act together."

"Yeah? Try living with him."

"I’ll pass on that offer. I have a twin, remember? She is problem enough for me." Tay looked out the window and saw Isaac motioning for him and Nicki to come back outside. "I think Isaac wants us out there." Taylor said.

"Oh. Okay." Taylor and Nicki walked out the door with a handful of Dr. Pepper each for every one out side.

"Tay, man, thanks for the soda." Isaac exclaimed once he was tossed one of the many sodas that where in Taylor's hands.

"Yeah, whatever." Taylor replied.

"Hello?" Mrs. W answered the ringing phone.

"Ah… Is this the Wesley home?" The other end asked.

"Yes it is. Can I help you?" She replied wondering who this caller was and what he wanted.

"Ok. Is Kim their then, please?"

"No she isn't." Mrs. W had an idea of who was calling. "Can I take a message?"

"Ya can you tell her that Derek called. Please?" Derek, Kim's old boyfriend asked.

Mrs. W was silent for a moment. The name Derek brought back so many hard memories. "Yes Derek Ill tell her you called. She won't be home for a while so I don’t know when she will call you back. Ok?" Then she hung up the phone with out even saying bye. Mrs. W kept her hand on the phone for about one minuet before the tears came flowing out.

"Mom?" Micah asked as he came into the room.

Mrs. W didn’t turn around she just squeaked out, "Yes?"

"Can we go to the park and she if those Hanson kids are out?" He asked, not knowing that his mother was crying.

"Sure." She turned around to face her son.

"Mom what's wrong?" Micah now could tell that she was crying.

"Nothing." She sighed, "Come give me a hug." She waved her hands in a motion to tell Micah that she wanted him near her.

When he got there he gave her a big hug. "Mom your gonna kill me the way your hugging me!" He choked out.

She looked up at him, let him go and laughed. "Go." She turned him around and hit his bumm as he was walking away.

"Thanks, Kate. I had a great time." Nicki said as she gathered up her stuff.

"Yeah, so did we." Isaac informed her.

"Yeah? Well, we’ll have to get together again sometime soon." Kate said.

"How bout this: I am supposed to go to some party on Saturday night. You guys wanna come?" Nicki asked hopping it would be ok if she invited them with her.

"Yeah! I’ll party till I drop!" Zac suck his bootie.

"Nice try Zac. You are not going to any party. You are too young anyway." Isaac said.

"I’m pretty sure I can go, I just need to ask my parents.." Tay exclaimed.

"Yeah, same here." Kate said.

"Sorry, Nicki, I can’t make it. I offered to watch my little brother's and sisters on Sat while my parents go out." Isaac said, "Taylor was supposed to help but I don’t care if he goes. Maybe some other time."

"Bummer." Nicki said as she got her left sandal on.

"Do me a favor at the party, will ya Nicki? Keep you're eye on Kaitlin here... she can be a flirt." Isaac joked, putting his arm around her.

"Hey! Isaac! I am offended!" She said as soon as she got what he meant.

"I’m just kidding ya, Katie. I trust you." Isaac kissed her on her forehead and walked out with side the door to joined Taylor and Zac.

"I still wanna go to the party..." Zac said softly, to him self.

"Well I'll see you all later, k?" Kate told them, as Nicki was the last of the visitors to leave.

"Ok." They all said back.

Then with out warning, Chrissy ran out the door past Kate and right to Zac. She kissed him on the lips fast but sweat. Said bye to him and ran back into the house up to her room, with all the eyes on her and what she just did. Zac's face turned bright red and, "Ok lets go." He turned and started to walk home.

Every one looked at each other and smile, with some giggles and turned to walk home.

"Bye Kate." Nicki said waving to her. "Have fun at dance tomorrow."

Kate said bye and wondered what Nicki was talking about. Then it hit her what she had told Isaac. She made her way up to her room. Passing Chrissy's room she knocked on the door and opened it to find Chrissy reading a magazine on her bed. Chrissy looked up to see Kate come in her room and sit down on her bed.

"So what was that all about?" Kate asked, replying to Chrissy's last minuet kiss to Zac.

"I didn't say good bye to him and I wanted to." Chrissy replied smiling slightly.

Kate shook her head and got up to leave.

"Kate?" Chrissy asked before Kate left her bedroom.

Kate turned around big eyed wondering what her sister wanted.

"Why did Nicki say have fun at dance to you?" Chrissy asked, knowing full well that Kate had quit dance about a week ago.

"I don’t know." Kate lied, knowing that no one beside her family members knew that she had quit.

"Oh." Then Chrissy added, "Are you getting together with Isaac tomorrow?"

"No." Then the phone rang. "I don't know what I'm doing yet. I'm waiting for a phone call on that." Kate replied before Chrissy answered the phone that was in her room and ringing.

"Hello?" She said.

Kate just looked at her sister whose eyes went directly to hers.

"Ya hang on. K?" Chrissy handed her sister the phone.

"Hello? Oh hi Jared. Can you hang on for a sec, I'm going to go to my room." Kate talked into the receiver. Then handed it to Chrissy, "Can you hang it up when I pick up?"

Chrissy shock her head, "Is this the phone call you were waiting for?" She asked knowing that Kate and Jared, some cute guy in Kate's grade, were becoming really close lately in phone calls.

Kate shook her head no and walked out of the room.
