"Tay, wait up!" Nicki screamed as she stormed out of the party. Her words did no good. Taylor was running farther and farther away from her, until he was out of Nicki's sight. "Shit!' Nic said to her self not knowing that some one was in dead running after her too.

"Nicki?" Shawn asked.

"You know what Shawn I don’t really feel like talking to you right now!" Nicki said coldly.

"You know this wasn’t all my fault you kissed me too!" Shawn said taking Nicki by the hand and making her look away from where Taylor was just a few minuets ago and looking at him.

"Ya, well you started it! If you never would have kissed me in the first place none of this would be happening!"

"What ever!" Shawn said knowing that he wasn't going to win, "Look, I'm sorry ok. And don’t worry about Taylor he'll get over it!"

"And you know this how?"

"Cause it happened last time Simmy had a party."

"Who's Simmy? And what happened?" Nicki asked interested know.

"Ok well last time Simmy, the girl who's party and house this is, well last time she had a party, Tay liked this girl named Kylie. He never had it in him to ask her out or to the party. Kylie liked him…"

"How do you know she liked him?" Nicki asked.

"Cause, she told me. Just listen," Shawn went on, "Kylie liked him and she's the kinda girl who wants the guys to ask her out. Well Taylor never got the balls to ask her out so he never got her. As it turned out I had a thing for her too. Well every one did and still does. She was the prettiest girl in like all of Tulsa and the fact that she liked Taylor instead of me made me kinda pissed! Any ways to make a long story short, I ended up kissing her and Taylor saw, just like to night and ran off."

"What did you do?"

"What could I do? By the time I knew what was going on Taylor had gone and Kylie was going after him."

"What happened with every thing?"

"Well She found him by the creek at the end of this road. Just sitting a rock, crying I think? I don’t really know I've heard so many different views of it. Taylor says he wasn't, but he wouldn’t tell anyone if he was. All I know is that him and Kylie did get together after all and the next day she dumped him complaining she didn’t like him any more. Kylie likes a guy for a day and then hates him the next she just like that. Taylor still hasn’t let me live it down, but he always find a way in his heart to forgive people. Or in my way give into people."

"So that’s why he got all mad. It brought up things from the past?" Nicki asked a little bummed knowing now he didn’t like her.

"No! He liked Kylie and I kissed her. He likes you and I kissed you. Get it?"

"He likes me?"

"Ya and you can tell that you like him too. So as long as your not going to ditch him the next day you guys start going out then maybe you should go after him!"

"Ok I'm going to. Oh and Shawn does this mean that you like me too?" Nicki asked as she took off.

Shawn didn’t say anything just smiled at her and went back into the party.

"Kate!" Jared yelled down the crowed hallway of Simmy's house. "Kate! Hey wait up!"

"Oh hey!" Kate said to him as he meet up to her. "I've been looking every where for you! Where have you been?"

"Looking for you!" Jared explained in his low sexy voice as he went in for a hug, "So what you wanna do tonight?"

Kate noticed that once Jared was in her arms he started to go up the back of her shirt with one hand and down on the out side of her jeans with his other hand, "Hey!" She said backing up. When she saw the confused look on his face, she moved back into him and whispered in his ear, "Nicki, Taylor and my brother are here."

"Oh." Jared now understood.

"Come on lets go find another place!" And with that Kate grabbed his hand and made him fallow her into another room.

"You sure this is ok?" Isaac asked as he watched Zac and Micah have diving competitions into the Wesley's pool.

Kim had deiced to go ahead and ask Isaac if it was ok if the kids went for a swim at her house. She had offered to watch them alone so that he could get some rest with Zoë finally sleeping, but he wanted to come. They had just finished moving both Maggie and Zoë into Maggie's big crib up in the room beside Kim's room and had come down tot he pool to make sure everything was ok with the other kids.

"Like I told you before Isaac it's not a big deal and you know you could have stayed home with Zoë and slept. You look like you could use some sleep." Kim noticed.

"Thanks!" Isaac grinned.

"No I didn’t mean it like that! I mean I just though that you might wanna take the rest. I mean I know you guys have to go out of town for a while soon and all…"

"Kim don’t worry about it I know what you meant don’t worry so much." Isaac smiled at Kim.

Kim just smiled back and watched as he took a new interest in what his younger siblings where doing.

Nicki found Taylor right where Shawn said he would have been. His head was down on his knees so you couldn't see his head or eyes. So she thought, "Omigod, Tay, I am so sorry... please don't cry..."

Taylor looked up at her with no tears in his eyes, only jealousy. "I'm not crying, and I really don't wanna talk to you... you're not exactly my favorite person in the world right now."

Nicki sat down beside him. "Look, Taylor I'm sorry ok. I mean it just happened."

Taylor didn’t say anything.

"So I hear this is where you came after the Kylie thing happened."

"What?" Taylor looked at her in the eyes.

"Shawn told me." Nicki smiled slightly.

"Oh and what else did Shawn tell you?"

"That you had it really bad for Kylie."

"Well I did."

"And that you have it bad for me that’s why you got so mad when Shawn kissed me."

'Shit, she knows! I'm never telling Shawn anything!' Taylor thought to himself, "Yeah, I do." Tay mumbled.

"I like you too." Nicki let slip out.

"I mean, you are older than me and way prettier than I deserve and-what did you say?" Taylor only now knowing what she had said.

"I said I like you too. You've been nothing but sweet to me." Nicki informed the now intercedes Taylor.

Taylor blushed. "Thanks, but then why did you kiss Shawn?"

"I didn't.... he kissed me!"

"It takes two to tango, Nic..."

"I know.... I guess I kinda kissed back... I guess I just needed some lovin'!" Nicki exclaimed.

Taylor laughed getting the joke that included one of the songs that he performs. "You could have told me! I would have helped you out! I mean...." his voice trailed off. He forgot what he was gonna say because he noticed a glimmer in her eye. That 'I want you to kiss me' look. He licked his lips and said nothing as he leaned in and kissed her so sweetly.

The sweet kiss was quickly turned into a make-out session. Taylor slowly slid his tongue into Nicki's mouth forcing it open. He let their tongues mingle in his mouth. The soft warmth made him feel all tingly.

Hands started roaming, and Taylor noticed he'd put his hand up the back of Nicki's shirt.

He quickly pulled away. "Uh... umm.... ah.... I gotta go now... sorry, Nicki I'll call you tomorrow" Taylor shouted as he lets Nicki sitting on the rock by her self.

Nicki sat there in silence. Had she done something wrong? Was the shirt thing too much for him to handle?

Nicki went back to Simmy's house to look for Kate to get a ride home. To Nicki's suprize Kate was a little to involved with someone for Nicki to interrupt her and ask for a ride home. So in shock that Kate could do this to Isaac, Nicki decided to walk home.

When she got out to the side walk a figure walked up behind her.

"You're Nicki, right?" the voice exclaimed.

Nicki turned around to see who it was, and she could not believe her eyes. It was Judson Thomas, quarter back of the high school football team and an all around hottie.

"Umm, yeah.... Judson, right?"

"Yeah. you can call me JT."

"Judson is sexier."

"Ya think?"

"Omigod, did I say that out loud?" Nicki said sincerely.

"Yeah, you did." Judson said as he walked up next to Nicki.

"Do you need a ride somewhere?"

"Yeah, I kinda do."

"Hop in."

"This car?"

"Yeah."

"You mean, you have a Porsche?" Nicki inquired.

"Umm... yeah.... get in…" Nicki climbed in the car and was surprised at how nice a car it was. "How did you ever afford it?"

"My parents gave it to me as a graduation gift."

"You haven't graduated yet though."

"So?" Judson said as the car started.

"Hey! Stop!" A man yelled.

"Who's that?" Nicki asked a little scared.

"Oh that’s my friend." Judson looked a little nervous and took off in the car so fast. "He's mad cause I don’t wanna give him a ride home."

"Oh." Nicki said still watching the guy chase after the car.

"Thanks again, Ike, for all of your help." Kim muttered.

"No problem, anytime...." Isaac said as he collected his younger brother and sisters sending them one bye one out the door. "How about you and I go out sometime... like, Friday night? Ill show you around the town. Show you where all the cool kids hang."

"Yeah, sure." Kim got all happy hearing this for she hadn't been out of the house for a long time.

"I'll pick you up at 7."

"Great." Kim said as she escorted Isaac to the front step of her families house.

"Cool, see ya then." Isaac said as he quickly kissed Kim on the lips and took off down the drive way to his house with a sleeping Zoë in his arms.

Kim was speechless. 'Okay, what just happened here?' Kim asked herself.
