"Shawn!" Taylor yelled across the field where the party was being held. "Shawn wait up!"
"Hey Tay!" Shawn said greeting his best friend, once Taylor and Nicki caught up to him. He eyed Nicki up and down before Taylor was able to introduce them. "Nicole, this is my best friend Shawn." Taylor gave Shawn a ‘back off’ look before going and further, "Shawn this is my..." He looked at Nicki, Nicki looked at him hoping that he would say ‘this is my girlfriend!’ and just get it over with. "My friend Nicki Wesley. She just moved here awhile ago."
"Hi." Shawn said offering his hand to her, "You have got to be one of the best looking girls in Tulsa."
Nicki didn’t know what to say or how to react. She looked at Taylor, who looked as though this was pissing him off, ‘Hmm...’ Nicki thought. Then she giggled and smiled at Shawn. "Thanks. You’re not too bad your self."
"So ya." Taylor cut in before anything else could happen, "The party is waiting."
"Oh ya! Ok, well Nicki you have to promise me a dance." Shawn said smiling and still making the moves on Nicki.
"Promise." Nicki flirted back.
Taylor just rolled his eyes and followed his two friends being the outcast.

"Ike, me and Micah are going over to Micah’s house to go swimming." Zac announced as he walked into Zoë and Mackenzie’s bedroom where Isaac was trying to get Zoë, Mac and Maggie to go to sleep.
"Zac!" Isaac freaked out, but said in a whisper, "Get out of here!"
Zac did as he was told and waited till Isaac come out of the room as well.
"Now what do you want?" Isaac looked as though he could kill someone.
Zac just looked at his older brother wondering if this was the best time to ask if he could go against his parent’s wishes for the evening. The rules that said he couldn’t go over to anyone’s house. "Umm... me and Micah just wanted to know if we could go back to his house to go swimming?"
"Zac it’s to dark out..."
"That’s what lights are for!" Zac cut him off.
"Oh and who’s going to look after you guys?" Isaac made his way down the hall and to the TV room where Jessica and Avery where watching Jacob and Micah duked it out on Super Nintendo. Isaac collapsed on the sofa, still having Zac behind him torturing him to let him and his friend go.
"Please Ike!" Zac pleaded.
"Zac not now..." Just then everyone looked at Isaac after hearing Maggie crying again. When Isaac was getting up the doorbell rang, "Zac get that will you?"

"Hey Zac."
"Kim, you’re done already?" Zac asked as he opened the door to let Kim in.
"Well the coach said I could go." Kim announced as she took her shoes off, "He said I didn’t need the lecture that he was going to give to the team cause I wasn’t there the last game."
"Cool." Zac tried to sound enthusiastic about it, "Hey Kim your going to go home right now right? To take a shower and stuff, maybe even a swim?"
"Why, do I really stink?" Kim smelled herself; "I showered at the school before I came over."
"No I was just wondering cause me and Micah want to go for a swim and Isaac wont let us." Zac said with a puppy-eyed look on his face.
"Well let me talk to Isaac about it." Kim looked around the room and couldn’t find him or Maggie, only her nexts door neighbors, brother and sisters.
"Where is he?"
"Up stairs with the other kids, trying to get Maggie to stop crying." Jessica said looking up at Kim.
Kim smiled and said, "Thanks, Jessica."
Jessica smiled and nodded.

"So Nicki, where’s my dance?" Shawn asked coming up to Nicki and Taylor who where sitting the couch.
She got up and joined him on the dance floor. Once Nicki and Shawn where on the floor dancing to ‘My Heart Will Go On’ they started talking.
"So, you know that Tay has the biggest thing for you?" Shawn whispered in her ear, as they danced across the floor holding each other close.
Nicki smiled and said, "Ya, well I’m just waiting for him to act on it."
"Well how’s about we make him a little jealous to provoke him." Shawn moved in closer to Nicki, making sure Taylor was watching, and kissed her.
Nicki moved back fast rejecting the kiss, but she knew it was too late. Out of the corner of her eye, she saw a jealous Taylor Hanson walk out of the room.
"Shit..." Nicki mumbled as she raced out of the room, leaving Shawn still on the floor.
"Here we go again!" Shawn whispered to himself thinking if he should flow or not.

Kim found her way to the littlest of the Hanson’s room where she was told she could find Isaac. She did find Isaac, cradling Maggie trying to get her to go to sleep. She watched him for awhile thinking ‘And I never liked you why?’
"She falls asleep faster if you lay her on her right side and rub her back." Kim said in a low whisper.
Isaac jumped a little. "How long have you been standing there?"
"Not that long." Kim walked over to Maggie who was now crying and took her from Isaac’s arms trying to silence her up.
"Man, she really knows your voice." Isaac smiled watching how Kim handled Maggie, "She acts towards you like you’re her mother or something."
Kim looked at Isaac and grinned, rolling her eyes slightly.
"Look, about this morning," Isaac started to say once Maggie was quiet and almost a sleep, "I really didn’t mean to hit you."
"I know. Don't worry about it Isaac. No biggie." Kim looked up at Isaac and gave him one of her sexy smiles, which had once attracted Derek to her. The one that started the whole messed up of her life.
