"What's wrong Taylor?" Lisa asked, looking concerned.
Just what I need, something to remind me of Isabelle Taylor thought.
"Hi Lisa, nothing's wrong, just got a little windy outside. I'll see you later, ok?" Taylor replied not expecting an answer.
Lisa gave him a look that said she didn't believe him, but shrugged her shoulders and walked off towards her hotel room.
"Lisa! Wait up!" Walker yelled from across the hall. Lisa spun around.
"Hey Walker! How are you?" Lisa asked, concerned because he had a serious face on him. What is with this family today?
"Uh . . . we need to talk Lisa." Walker said holding the door to the hotel room open for her. Lisa walked in and Walker followed.
"What is it?" Lisa asked.
"Well, it has been brought to my attention that you, and I'm sorry to have to say this, but, that you have been slacking off at your work, and that you have been stealing from the concert money." Walker said looking sad and looking at the floor.
Lisa was shocked.
"Brought to your attention?!?!?! By who?! I have never stolen anything from anybody, Walker! You knwo me, I have been with the Hanson family for years, before the success! You know I would never steal from you!" Lisa said all in one breath.
"I'm sorry, Lisa, but I'm going to have to let you go. Here are the plane tickets, you leave at 6:00 pm tonight." Walker said handing her the tickets and looking at the floor. he started to walk out of the door.
"Wait! I just want to know who told you. Who spread these lies about me. Please tell me, Walker." Lisa said with pleading eyes.
He hesistated.
"Courtney . . . she was very sure about it . . . I'm sorry, Lisa." And with that, he left shutting the door behind him.
Lisa sat down on the bed trying to take in everything. She looked at the tickets. Everything she had worked for, everything she had hoped and dreamed about, was ruined because some 15 year old girl was jealous because her boyfriend liked Isabelle better than her. Lisa could see it. She had been the Hansons' personal advisor for years, she could tell when one of the brothers had a crush, or were falling in love.
"Well, no use crying about it, if Walker believed Courtney over me, than it's obvious who he would rather have to tour with him. I don't stay were I'm not wanted." Lisa said to herself. Getting up and starting to pack her things.
Isabelle opened the door to the hotel room she shared with her aunt. She saw all the luggage packed and close to the door when it opened.
"Lisa?! You here? why is everythign packed?" Isabelle called into the room.
"Hey, yeah I'm here." Lisa said emerging from the bathroon.
"Why is everything packed? We are still here for another week." Isabelle asked.
"Yeah, well, a couple things have changed. . . . " Lisa filled Isabelle in on all the details and she was furious.
"How can you just sit here and pack up our whole lives!? Now what are we going to do? You know if the Guardian House Of USA finds out you don't have a job, they'll take me away!" Isabelle said.
"I know . . . I know . . . we'll think of something. Dont' worry, just pack your things." Lisa said giving her a hug.
Isabelle pulled away.
"No, not yet, I need to have a few words with Courtney." isabelle said reaching for the handle on the door.
"No, Isabelle, you know that's not going to do anything!" Lisa said.
"I know, but I have to do something." Isabelle said closing the door behind her.
Courtney sat eating a apple and reading a magazine in the front lobby. She looked up when she heard Isabelle storm out of the elevator. She gave a reasurring smile. Satisfied that her plan had worked.
"Courtney!" Isabelle called when she saw her.
"Yes?" Courntey asked innocently.
"I'm surprised that Taylor isn't strapped to your chair, you know, he might be signing a girl's stomach right now." Isabelle started, smiling at the fact that Courtney shifted a little when she said that. "I know you hate me, and you know, that's no problem, because you are not my favourite person either. But to get my aunt in this little situation, is just pure pathetic. She has known the Hansons longer than you've been born, and you are ruining her whole life right now! I know you are mean, but this is just pure evil. People say that whenever you are hurtful to another, it will come back to you times 3. In this case I bet it will come back times 6, and no one will be there to protect you. And it will all be your fault." Isabelle finished.
"Oh please! You think that's supposed to hurt me?! How pathetic! Everyone thinks I'm an angel! You just probably think I'm mean because I've got the guy you want, and you can never have him!" Courtney ended that with an evil smile.
"Oh yeah? Well, then how come about half an hour ago, the only guy I want was fighting with the your twin brother over me? Not caring if you heard or got mad, because let me get this through your thick skull, you are a thing that someone will never be able to love, because you let hate and hurt and evil rule out love and kindness. I feel sorry for you. I really do, not hate, not resentfulness, pity, I pity for you. For you will never get to love like a person was meant to." Isabelle said spinning her heel and walking towards the elevator, leaving Courtney in a state of shock.
