*chapter 10*

Isaac lay in bed, thinking about his experiences yesterday. He was in a bit of a daze because of all the weird happenings. Famous people (and golfers), singing dogs, and other mysterious people (the man who had served him his popcorn sure had a mysterious looking eyebrow...yes, AN eyebrow...one...all the way across his face...it reminded Ike of the...butler.) THE BUTLER!! Oh his gosh! He had found the butler! The mysterious guy with one eyebrow! Hmm...he sure looked like a guitar stealing meanie. This was too much, he immediately called Taylor into his room to inform him of what he had concluded. After his mission of telling Taylor was over, he got an odd look, and was told by Taylor that he needed to get a life. And a new guitar. Isaac protested that that just wasn’t right. He needed his old guitar back! Tania would be mad if she knew that he had just given up on her! It was just too cruel. Isaac looked Taylor in the eyes and told him that he WOULD find Tania. Even if it was the last thing he did...which was very likely.

Zac and Jill walked slowly up and down the streets of Tulsaville, trying to find Laura Vanlandingham, or the Happy Weasel. Whichever came first. They were trying to be unnoticable, so they were dressed all in black and kept jumping behind things: people, houses, statues, weasels...whatever they could find. Oh yes, and they were equipped with water guns. Nobody was gonna mess with them. As they worked their way up and down the lanes, they noticed that numerous people were looking at them funny. Why ever were they doing that?

Taylor sat in his chair at the dinner table with a confused look on his face. When his dad asked him what was wrong he simple answered, “Nothing.” Ok, that was easy enough, but Taylor was REALLY worried! About what, you may ask? DUH! Why do you think he was worried? Because he couldn’t figure out what he was worried about and it was nearly driving him bananas!! He started into his baked potato podering all the possible things he could be worried about: knight practice? No, he was doing wonderful in knight practice. Tania? No, why would he be worried about Issac’s guitar...or girlfriend? His mom? No, how stupid, his mom was perfectly fine. Finally, it came to him, he was worried about his leather pants. They had been missing for 3 days and he couldn’t, for the life of himself, figure out where they had gone. He had looked everywhere! Under his bed, in his mom’s laudry basket, out on the clothesline, in the toilet, shower, sink...EVERYWHERE!! Where could they have possibly gone?

Tania had to go home. She couldn’t run from Amy and Lucy for forever. She had to face the fact that they didn’t like each other. Her plan had been a flop, there was nothing she could do about it, she had tried everything. But, oh, how she wanted them to be friends! As she walked up to her front door, she held her breath, waiting for the fire raging inside... But what met her inside was not what she expected at all! Lucy and Amy were...conversing!! Having a conversation! Discussing something! Talking! NOT IGNORING EACH OTHER!! It was a miracle! A pure miracle! Tania bounced inside and hugged them both, exclaiming how happy she was that they were beginning to like each other. They both gave her funny looks and asked her to sit down. They needed to tell her something. Uh oh, she didn’t like the sound of this...

Isaac lay on his bed, staring at the glow-in-the-dark stars on his ceiling, thinking about, well, what else but Tania? Oh, how he missed her! (The guitar, we mean.) It was horrible! Day after day he was wasting away in a guitar-named-Tania withdrawl. It wouldn’t be very many days before he would have to let go...no, he couldn’t do that to Tania (the guitar or the person), he couldn’t put her through that kind of dispair. Where was she though? He was starting to basically go crazy. He needed therapy, yes, that was it, therapy...

Go? Her? But...but...it was HER house! Amy and Lucy couldn’t kick her out!! She pondered what they had said, that SHE was the root of their arguments, that SHE had started it all, that it was HER fault that her boyfriend was going insane...no! It WASN’T her! It couldn’t be! Tania continued to pack her bags, wondering how she had managed to get kicked out of her own house by people that didn’t even live there...Where would she go? Well, at least she knew the answer to that one, she’d go to Isaac’s, of course, she’d be welcomed there. How could she have thought that having Amy and Lucy over was a good idea? She should have known that something like this would happen...but how can you expect to get kicked out of your own house? It was horrible! Tania, with tears in her eyes, carried her suitcase and pillow out the front door and started the walk to Sir Clarke Isaac’s house. Little did she know what was waiting for her...

Sir Alfredo Cheesier continued trying to get answers out of the...well, thing, but it just wasn’t working! How had he gotten himself into this mess? He sighed and tried again, “So, tell me, one more time, what do you want with me?” The thing answered, “Nothing, if I wanted something I already would’ve gotten it and you wouldn’t be here.” Oh great, Sir Alfredo only wished that that thing had wanted something from him. What was he going to do? His wife, Parmesan Cheesier would be worried sick! Probably right now she was waiting by the door, staring at the window, waiting for her knight in shining armor to return home. He couldn’t bear the thought of her being like that. He HAD to outwit this thing!

Zac and Jill slowly found their way to where they were going. Or so they thought, considering they really weren’t sure where they were going, but this looked like a good place. It had big fountains, guards which they had to trick to get inside, servants, and big brick walls all around it. In fact, it kind of looked like a castle. Zac and Jill were awed by the immense structure. Suddenly, from behind, they heard running feet! They turned to look at each other and then began to run! Oh no! They were coming from both sides! Whatever were they to do...?
