Well, I am currently working as a Software Engineer, with HCL-Cisco Networking Labs, an offshore development center for Cisco Inc. located in Chennai, India. This place happens to be the largest development center Cisco has outside US.
OK... Broadly speaking.. I am into Networking...TCP/IP
and stuff...
I am currently, involved in a "Data Over
Cable" project. i.e. I am in the Cable Engg. group working on Cable
Routers and Cable modem technology. As of now, I am directly involved
in the development and automation of test
procedures for the ATP, for DOCSIS complaince of these Cisco products.
I work on SunOS 5.6 platform, and most of my work
involves Tcl, Expect, CSCCON and so on... Sorry,...
but any more details of the work fall under the confidentiality agreement...

Prior to this,... I was working in 7-Technologies,
a Denmark based company... where my work involved
application development in based on VC++. I designed an enhanced functionality
toolbar kit and a mailing application for
the "Safecon 2000" product. During my Bachelor's
degree, in BITS Pilani, I was also involved in ASIC Design and have some
experience with VHDL, Verilog etc. I did a six month's
project in Cadence Design System, NOIDA
on Synergy Library Development. Apart from that,
I was also involved in a VHDL based design project
at CEERI, Pilani.
