Castlevania Symphony of the Night
I have played this game but I haven't finished it yet. However, I will
tell all I know for this game. I am 70% done the game. All my spells,
moves, weapons, and secret strategies! There is probably stuff that
you know, and if you do:
TELL ME! PLEASE!
First of all:
Spells
Hellfire (10 MP): Up, Down, Down-Right, Right, Attack
Dark Metamorphasis (8 MP): Left, Up-Left, Up, Up-Right, Right, Attack
Summon Spirit (5 MP): Right, Left, Up, Down, Attack
Soul Steal (50 MP): Left, Right, Down Right, Down, Down Left, Left, Right, Attack
Next:
Weapons Tactics
Shotel: Down, Down-Right, Right, Attack (A distant attack)
Rapier: Down, Down-Right, Right, Attack (A more powerful attack)
Claymore: Left, Right, Attack (A dashing stab. Really powerful)
Holy Sword:: Down, Down-Right, Right, Attack (A more powerful attack at the cost of 3 MP's)
Holy Rod:: Down, Down-Right, Right, Attack (A more powerful attack)
Shield Rod: Left, Right, Attack (This blocks projectiles)
Some of these may be wrong but I think they are right.
Thirdly:
Tips & Secret Strategies
1.) Press down and Jump while in the air. This will do a jump kick, which
will allow you to get more vertical if you hit a candle or enemy.
2.) If you transform to mist and hit the roof, you can do a double jump
once more. Keep doing this and you will get more airtime and jump futher
distances. (You need the Leap stone for this trick)
3.) Always look to the roof. Secret passages are usually there, but they
may be difficult to get up.
4.) Use the Soul Steal for every time you are low on life. It's really
powerful, and you get energy. Works well on Bosses!
5.) I done a tactic with the Knight Shield that increased my defense. If
you have the Shield Rod, equip it and do the code (I don't know what it is)
and the Shield Rod will become really powerful!!!!!
6.) In the clock room (where you speak to Maria once), there are statues
in the top corners. Use the clock weapon in this room and the statues
will move back and allow you to receive some items!
7.) Always hit the walls if somewhere leads to a dead end. Items may
appear!
I am not going to tell the story or give a walk-through. I want you to
figure out everything for yourself and with a walk-through, you can go
anything in any order. Just keep looking on your map to see what you haven'y
done!
