Announcer: Ash Ketchum and Gary Oak, the two Pokémon League finalists, are having a battle to decide who is the true Pokémon League champion! Ash: Go, Charmeleon! Gary: Go, Pikachu! Ash: Charmeleon, Fire Spin! Charmeleon: CHAR! Announcer: Pikachu is trapped in Charmeleon's fire! Gary: Pikachu, Thunder! Announcer: Pikachu's electricity hit Charmeleon's fire and does not effect Charmeleon! But, Charmeleon's fire has burned out, leaving Charmeleon open for an attack! Gary: Pikachu, take this Thunder Stone. Announcer: Pikachu is glowing! Wow! It just evolved into the amazing Raichu! Raichu: Raichu! Ash: You're cheating! Gary: Evolving your Pokémon during battle doesn't break any Pokémon League rules! You should know that! Ash: Hmmm, in that case, Charmeleon, Fire Blast! Announcer: Raichu is covered in fire! It looks like it's badly hurt! Gary: Raichu, Quick Attack! Announcer: Raichu knocks Charmeleon to the ground! Ash: Charmeleon, Rage! Announcer: Charmeleon knocks Raichu off of it and slashes it wildly! But wait! Round One is over! There will be a short intermission for the trainers to heal their Pokémon. * * * Announcer: Welcome back folks, to the fight for the title of Elite Four Champion! During the intermission, Ash's Charmeleon evolved into Charizard! Ash has chosen to keep Charizard in the ring, while Gary has switched Raichu for Machamp! Ash: You'll never beat me! Gary: Don't be so sure! Ash: Charizard, go! Gary: Go, Machamp! Ash: Charizard, Fire Blast! Announcer: Machamp is covered in flames! Ouch! Gary: Machamp, Mega Punch! Announcer: Machamp tries to hit Charizard with its many hands, but Charizard leaps out of the way! Ash: Ember! Announcer: Charizard strikes Machamp with its burning tail! Machamp looks like a giant burn now! Gary: Fissure! Announcer: Machamp picks up a huge boulder, splits it in two, and tosses it at Charizard! Charizard flies out of its path! Ground attacks don't effect Flying Pokémon! Ash: Fire Spin! Announcer: Machamp's surrounded by a wall of fire! It can't move! Gary: Earthquake! Announcer: Machamp strikes the ground, causing it to split underneath Charizard! But Charizard flies to another part of the stadium! Another Ground attack that won't effect Charizard! Ash: Finish it off with Flamethrower! Announcer: The fire hits Machamp and it falls to the ground! Gary recalls it! That means Ash is the new Elite Four Champion! Gary: I'll be back! Announcer: Gary storms out of the stadium! Oh well, there's always next year's tournament, Gary! THE END
