Naval Air Training Operational Procedures Standardization

The NATOPS office is basically the cage we keep our pilots and AT2 Furlong in.

Our NATOPS Office's purpose is to supervise the training and qualification of Enlisted Aircrewmen and Pilots. The following positions are held in NATOPS:

NATOPS OFFICER/INSTRUCTOR: The NATOPS OFFICER is an air crewmember whose primary duty is to administer the NATOPS program within a squadron or unit. The NATOPS officer may also be a NATOPS Instructor. The Instructor is a highly qualified air crewmember whose duty is to administer the NATOPS evaluation program. In a nutshell, the NATOPS Officer sees to it that all crewmembers are qualified to perform their duties as crewmembers on a specified aircraft. (HH-1N or UC-12B at this command)
