NEW RELEASE REVIEW PAGE II

AS SAID BEFORE, SOME OF THESE ARE NOT NEW RELEASES. I JUST RECENTLY GOT MY HANDS ON THEM

EXCLUSIVE NO LIMIT REVIEW: MYSTIKAL: GHETTO FABULOUS: This CD is kinda in between "Mind Of Mystikal" and "Unpredictable". It is better than Unpredictable, but not as good as Mind Of Mystikal. Easily the best song is a song with C-Murder and Master P called, "Stack Yo Chips. The melody of this song is the same that was used on a song on the Luniz album "Operation Stackola". Actually it was my favorite song on that album... it was called "Plead Guilty". But anyway, this CD has some good moments, and some not so good ones. Of course this one is a lot easier to listen to than "Unpredictable". I found myself pushing the fastforward button a lot on that album. On this one, I can let it play, with the exception of "Round The Tank"....I don't like it. "Life Ain't Cool"... gets on my nerves, and "Whacha Want, Whacha Need" with Busta Rhymes.... I like the lyrics, but the beat does nothing for me. The rest of the CD is bumpin'. I kinda feel I got raped waiting so long for this CD to some out. I think that it is a step in the right direction for Mystikal, becaue after his last one, I was getting kinda worried. Aslo, on this album, Mystikal displays some of the most rapid rapping I have heard since Indo G's album. This is a must buy, and make usre you pay close attention to "I Smell Smoke", because it is part 3 of an on going saga of smokin weed. Listen to "Mind Of Mystikal" track #9, then play "Still Smoking", and then this one. They all connect. The beats in this album are A LOT better. It really doesn't have the monotony of the past No Limit releases. I suggest that you go get this CD. Not Super great, but definately an improvement. RATING: 7.4 out of 10

REVIEW: NAUGHTY DA WILD BOY: GET YO WILD ON: This is another CD from Memphis featuring some well known Memphis artists such as Kingpin Skinny Pimp, Lil' Ced, Ju-Ju, Wah-Wah, DHP, and many more. If the whole album could have only been like the intro. Man that is a tight beat! I like most of the tracks, especially "Wild Nigga Party"m which features some nice rapping by Skinny Pimp. This is a nice CD to have if you want to hear some good Memphis Underground. It contains 15 tracks, two of those being bonus tracks. I suggest that you go buy it, because it is worth it. RATING: 7.5 out of 10
