You are probably asking yourself "What the heck is Cho?".
Well Cho is a hidden link found on Cyan's web page. The person running it is a guy that calls himself Spyder, he was the guy who broke into Cyan during the creation of Riven and got us, the fans, just enough information to tide us over untill Riven finnanly came out. He made about ten Reports about Riven before its release. If you ask me the only reason Spyder would be back and setting up hidden links on Cyan's homepage would be because their is going to be a third game. Yes you heard me Ladies and Gentlemen I present to you THE SEQUAL TO RIVEN.

Once you go to cho.cyan.com look closly at the picture. Do you see anything strange about it? click the Spyder and this will take you to a riddle.
Right now I have no idea as to what this riddle means but if you do then please E-Mail Me and I will post it here on this page.
After you read the riddle go down and you will find another Spyder click it and you will get a coded message.
Second Report

Ladies and gentlemen it has been confermed by Cyan them selves "It is official, the sequal to the sequal to Myst is in the works" and there also talking about a movie. But that isnt the most exciting part of theis report. I have discovered what the riddle means but you'll have to go Here to understand it. What is going on is that their is the mother of all "easter eggs" programed into Riven but before you can get it you have to click five different things in the game. Spyder will, someday, give us another riddle and that will be a clue to the next thing we have to click. The riddle is actiouley pretty easy to understand if you berak it down into small pieces and figure those out one by one.

ok let me show you. "WHERE CREATURES FLOAT..." => answer: Ghen has some frogs floating in jars of liquid in his lab on Crater Island.

"...AND WATERS RISE..." => answer: rember Ghens little lab experiment whare you turn on the burner and the water moves to the top of the jar.

"...ONLY ONE OF FIVE WILL OPEN..." => answer: their is a little antique cabnet their with five drawers and only one will open, inside are a bunch of eggs.

"...THE ONE THAT STANDS OUT IS YOUR PRIZE,..." => answer: all the eggs are a normal color except one that has spots.

"...SMALL, ORANGE AND UNBROKEN" => answer: click the small orang and unbroken egg.

If you drag down the page a little further youll notice another spider, click it and you will get more coded messages but this is even more difficult than the one you see above. At this time I have no idea as to what this means but when I do I will write it in another report. Fifth Report

I DID IT, I DID IT, I DID IT. I finnaly figured out what the 3rd code is and I know what the 2nd Riddle is. But here is the best part, I know what the 2nd Riddle means. First let me tell you how to decifer the 3rd code.

With alot of help from Jim Stephenson I figured it out. First of all you need to "Edit=Copy" the text from cho.cyan.com and "Edit=Paste" it into a Word Processing document, then alter it so you have 25 rows of 40 characters per row. Now take a look at the screen, its like one of those posters that if you look at it for a long time you see something in it, do you see a face? Well you better because the face belongs to a man by the name of Tony Fryman. Now go to Cyan and go to their list of employes and find Tony. Or should I say find a picture of Tony, click on the picture and you will be taken to cho.cyan.com again and you will see the 2nd Riddle:
This my friends is the second riddle but like I said I know the answer to it and here it is:

ok let me show you. "SLOWLY RISING FROM THE BED,..." => answer: Where exactly would you rise from a bed on Riven? Thats easy you dont you get up from a bed after you are shot on Moiety Age.

"...AND CLOSER TO YOUR GOAL..." => answer: You took a big steap closer to the goal of beating the game because you get you Prison Book back.

"...CLEAR THE COBWEBS FROM YOUR HEAD,..." => answer: You were probably feeling kind of disy from the dart.

"...AND SEARCH THE EMPTY BOWL." => answer: Their is an empty bowl sitting on the rock table in your prison on Moiety age click it.
