"That's it Ike! I've had it up to here! It's the last straw! We're over!" Kelsey Garamond screamed, "I'm leaving!"
"What? Kel...no...why?" Isaac pleaded.
"I'm not going to lie to you Ike. It was partly you,"
"Me?"
"Yeah, you. I can't stand doing this anymore. Why the hell do we have to be so secretive about our relationship? You're 18! Almost 19! And you still can't tell them we're going out, even though we've been sleeping together since God only knows when," Kelsey explained as she began packing her clothes into her suitcase.
"That's not my fault Kelsey,"
"It is; in a small way Ike,"
"You can't go,"
"Watch me," Kelsey briefly stopped her packing only to light a cigarette. She placed the cigarette in between her lips and took a heavy drag before releasing a gray puff of smoke.
"Don't do this again Kelsey,"
"No Isaac. This time it's real. I'm leaving and I'm not coming back,"
"You said that last time. You never even left," Isaac explained. This had happened before, but Kelsey could not even walk past the threshold of the door before throwing herself into Isaac's arms and apologizing many times over.
"It's different this time. This time I'm really going. Forever, too,"
"You don't mean it, babe,"
"But I do Ike. I learnt my lesson,"
"Don't leave me," Isaac said quietly as he encircled his arms around her waist, "Don't leave me," He gently planted a soft kiss on her lips, but she pulled away.
"Don't make it harder for me than it already is," Kelsey wriggled out of Isaac's grip and resumed packing.
"Hard?" Isaac was outraged, "How the fuck can this be hard on you? What about me? Can you stop being selfish for a few moments just to think about the consequences this has on me? Or are you too selfish to spare a mere few seconds to think about it, huh?" Isaac did not realize, nor understand, the words escaping his lips.
"Fuck you, prick! I'm not a selfish bitch!" Kelsey yelled as she dug the cigarette she held into an ash tray.
"I never said you were a bitch,"
"You meant it,"
"Look, baby," Isaac stepped towards her and wrapped his arms around her waist with a tight grip so she could escape, "Don't walk away from this; from the best thing the both of us have. Don't walk away," Kelsey stared in his eyes. Sincerity and trust. She would have to make a few sacrifices, but it was for the better. She kissed him deeply showing him just how much Love she had for him.
"Don't walk away," Isaac whispered. And she didn't.
