This site is not about bashing ANY one's faith or belief system, it is here to provide the truth for those who are seeking answers, truth of the Godly kind.
I and my husband are Born Again Believers, the brunt of my testimony can be found on the page 5 LINK, below.
I would also like to state clearly, that the title of this page has nothing to do with Catholics in general. Some years ago, I was on a chat board type site, it was the first site I had found when I came to the internet. The name of that site was "Athiests for Jesus" consisting of a broad range of people, beliefs & opinions. And the name was misleading, as they were not converted athiests.
When I decided to create this site, I made a statement, I WAS a Roman Catholic for over 35 years, I am not any longer by choice.
I am NOT saying that there are not people that serve Jesus, know Jesus or who are born again IN the Catholic Church either.
I did NOT go "seeking" what I now have or am, nor did I go to any church look for what I received, nor did I follow any person or instructions by a person... He came to me, as I am the one who was lost. I did NOT look to find another "denomination" or "group" either... He found me.
I now sit in a Church that God directed our steps to, I am a "Born Again" Child of God,we believe in the Word of God, from cover to cover and all are welcome in the Name of Jesus Christ.
We are told NOT to forsake the assembling of the saints... it is not where you sit that matters, it is who is invited & shows up there that matters most.
What church should you go to?
One that God goes to & leads you to, would be my response.

Many ask, what is a "Born Again Believer?"
Jesus was actually telling us of the fulfillment of God's word from the book of Ezekiel, the prophet. But, to understand this, one must also know, all the promises of God are NOT only for the Jew but, for the Gentile too..... you & me. Not only for Israel but, for the world.
Ezekiel 36:26 I will give you a NEW HEART AND PUT A NEW SPIRIT WITHIN YOU; I WILL TAKE THE HEART OF STONE OUT OF YOUR FLESH AND GIVE YOU A HEART OF FLESH. 27 I WILL PUT MY SPIRIT WITHIN YOU AND CAUSE YOU TO WALK IN MY STATUTES, AND YOU WILL KEEP MY JUDGMENTS AND DO THEM.
And Jesus told us that the evidence that this has taken place, is according to the fruits, or what a person does & why.
John 14:15 "If you love Me, keep My commandments."
Ok, so what does that all mean, right? Bottom line, if we are NOT born from above, the second birth with the NEW HEART & SPIRIT, we are not going to heaven. Why???
Lets see why...
The prophet Isaiah tells us in Chapter 64:6; "But we are all as an unclean thing (unwashed) and all our righteousnesses (how we see ourself) are as filthy rags; (likened to old menstrual garments* sorry that is the Hebrew translation) and we all do fade as a leaf; (wither and die) and our iniquities, (sins) like the wind, have taken us away." Seems pretty clear here too, what we think is good, that what we think of ourself, is not quite the same way as God sees it.
He sees us in need, why are we in need, who did He send and how does God truly feel about us? Here is your answer, John 3:16-18 "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. "For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. "He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. He loves you so much that He sent His Son, a Son that was willing to suffer in your place for the sinful nature we are born with as a result of Adam and Eve's disobedience to God. That was the fall of mankind.
Thinking, na... I'm a good person, I give money to charity, I give food to the local food drive, I don't beat my spouse, I'm good to the kids, I don't drink too much, I'm, I'm a GOOD person so I will go to heaven. Funny... that is just what I use to think about myself, until I read the word of God and saw what He had to say about "good works" from the above passage in Isaiah and that I am a sinner in need of a Savior. AND this one in Titus 3:4-7 "But when the kindness and the love of God our Savior toward man appeared, not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit, whom He poured out on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Savior, that having been justified by His grace we should become heirs according to the hope of eternal life." It is only by HIS GRACE we are saved and He has one other requirement of us, for us to be a new creature in Christ or Born Again.
And it is this from Romans 10:8-10; "But what does it say? "The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart" (that is, the word of faith which we preach) that if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." I am not one to believe in a fancy prayer, or the repeat after me one either. If you are in need of a Savior, the one and only true Savior, then get on your knees in the comfort of your own home and cry out to Him what is in your heart and He will come to you if you feel moved to tears, that is ok, let them flow, they have a cleansing effect. If you would like some guidence from the word in this matter, read the following verses; Romans 3:23-24 & John 1:9 and Acts 3:19 and that should help to guide you. He did it for me and He says He is no respector of persons, in Acts 10:34 Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons. So if He did it for one, He will do it for anyone who calls out to Him in the name of the Son... Jesus Christ.
God is not like the earthly father that raised you, He is not a man, He is above our ways and He loves you unconditionally, He is not angry with you, He is not disappointed when you make a mistake, He loves you just as you are, all He requires is for you to call upon Jesus Christ, and you will receive Him in your heart. And He will become more real to you than I am to you right now.

May you find the path He stands patiently waiting for you upon, it is narrow and in darkness, but He is that light that shines brightly in that darkness and He will gently guide your steps all the way to the gate...
AND IF YOU DO SAY A PRAYER, IT IS IMPORTANT THAT YOU TELL SOMEONE RIGHT AWAY, WE WILL REJOICE WITH YOU, FOR YOU HAVE BECOME THE BRIDE AWAITING HER BRIDEGROOM NOW, HIS SECOND COMING. IN THE HEBREW TRADITION, SHE KNOWS NOT WHEN HE WILL COME TO GATHER HER UP....
