My Own Tayle
Oh wow...where to start? The begining I guess...well, I first saw them as I
was flipping through the chanels and I stopped on Rosie and I saw these three
kids playing some song I had never heard...so I watched a lil of that, and a lil
of the interview, but I basically wasn't interested.
Well, about two weeks after that they started popping up -all- over the place!
I couldn't look at anything and not see them. But, being me, I still didn't pay
alot of attention.
Then...like everyone I knew (almost) fell in love with them...I got so sick
of 'Hanson this, Hanson that, Hanson here, Hanson there' I was about ready to go
into hiding so I could get away from it all! Well...since I was just about the
only one with access to the net, it wasn't long before they all started asking
me to do them favors.
So began my knowledge of Hanson, I found out names, birthdays, eyes, left-right
handed, fave everythings, boxers of briefs (lil overboard there!), toothbrushes,
but more than that, I learned about them, I mean, what they had to say, how they
felt about this all, I found lyrics, I heard meanings, and I discovered that alot
of how they were, was how I am.
One day in the middle of summer, on a whim I purchased the MMMBop single on
tape, and I'm surprised I didn't wear it out in those first few days! I listened
to it over and over and over. I loved the song! It was so catchy, I couldn't get
it out of my head!
Then came the break through, I decided to actually watch a Hanson performance
willingly (I had seen many againt my will, so I had tuned them out). That night
I stayed up and taped them on Jay Leno (now i can't find it!). And after that,
the rest is history! It didn't take me long to start buying Hanson stuff, reading
everything I could about them, getting Hanson e-pals, everything!
I admire them for far more than their music abilities, or their looks, I love
them, just like I would love my best friend, their music and/or quotes have
helped me through alot in my life, and I owe them so much that they'll prolly
never know about!
And that, is my long and confusing tale, from hating anything to do with them,
to loving anything that has something good to say about them! I collected, and still
collect an odd collection of things....which I'm gonna list right about now:

1 cassete tape of remixes and live performances inluding 'MMMBop, Madeline,
Weird, IWC2U, and Man From Milwaukee, plus a spoof of MMMBop called SmurfBop done
in swedish, and a whole interview in swedish were you can only understand Hanson
unless you happen to know swedish as your second(first) language! (thanx vanessa for this tape!)

my fashion sence! Baggy forest green cords like Ike, A vinyl jacket like Tay,
dress shirts like them, a cross necklace like Ike's, I want cargo pants, parachute
pants, shirts with stripes, chokers like Tay, and more!
