These links are helpful if you want to perform searches for topics or subjects, although...they might also have people finders.

Metacrawler Search Engine- It incorporates several big search engines (Yahoo!, Excite, Lycos and Web Crawler) into one massive search engine.

ACCUFIND.COM- This also combines serveral search engines into one.


People Finders


Most methods of finding people online, without having to pay for public records are by way of phone numbers or addresses.

American Directory Service Assistance- You can type in a Name and get all the people in the USA with the same name, or you can limit it by city...or you can put in a phone number and get a name.

Who? Where? People Finder- basically a search engine to find people
555-1212.com- looks up phone numbers
Yahoos! phone directories
Infospace- has a phone directory that covers USA and Canda.
Martin's Search Page- gives access to tons of search engines for various things.
www.trweb.com- Telephone/address/email/business directory


Email Finders


These are basically the same as the phone number finders, except you type in a name and they give you the email addresses for the people.

Four11.com- has the email listings for people using online services, like CompuServe and AOL.

Internet Address Finder- finds internet addresses.


Public Records, etc.


You really can't get public records online without paying for them, however there are some such as your local county assessors office, and certain states have certain things online.

Vital Records Information- where and how to obtain vital records in each state.

FAA Aircraft Registration
Ancestry.com- genealogy resource, they have a one month free deal...and they don't ask for billing information


MAPS


Places to find maps, duh

Mapquest-type in any street address in the USA and get a map of the neighborhood; zoom in and out
