This was the most important league week in the history of the club. With only eight matches remaining Crazy Gang till the end of the season, Crazy Gang trail the league by five points. Their matches against 1st place Waterton Park and 3rd placed Fulchester United. Crazy Gang were also without the influential Andy Jowett and Howard Mulroe. These are games Crazy Gang need to win in order to stake a claim in the championship race. It proved to be a thrilling encounter between the two teams in both matches and Crazy Gang took full advantage and trail the championship by 2 points.
Crazy Gang 2 - 1 Fulchester Utd
This provided to be a test for Crazy Gang on paper but Crazy Gang seemed in control all the way through the game. The first half finished goalless with both teams having a few chances, including one outstanding reflex save from keeper Paul Bruce. Early in the second half Crazy Gang took the lead with a well taking goal by Chris Duffy. The second goal soon followed and was laid on to Chris Duffy by Darren Zemlik who took on the defender and coolly rounded the keeper. However, soon after a penalty was awarded to Fulchester which they took well.

Crazy Gang 3 - 2 Waterton Park
This was a game Crazy Gang needed to win if their was any chance of them winning the league. Crazy Gang trailed the league by five points prior to this fixture and the game proved to be a thriller. In the first minute Darren Zemlik latched on to a through ball from Chris Duffy to fire straight at the keeper. A few minutes later Crazy Gang drew first blood when a one two between Michael Michael and Chris Duffy ended in a good strike from a narrow angel from the ever present Darren Zemlik. This was the score in the tense first half where Waterton Park pulled on the pressure on the Crazy Gang defence, Ranbir Shergill and Andrew Ladley handled their attack well. Early in the second half a superb run across field by Chris Duffy beating two men a curling a unstoppable power shot round the post gave us a 2 - 0 lead. However, Waterton Park pilled on the pressure and pulled back a two goal deficit in the last minute of the match. They thought they had got a point but they had not reckoned with Crazy Gang's Chris Duffy who scored a superb goal straight from the kick off beating every one of the Waterton Park men rounding the keeper sliding the ball in the goal, and stunning the crowd.
