My Song

Jesus has placed within my heart a song that is mine alone.  No one else can sing it, not even angels.  He has given me a song that will bring me through any problem or tragedy that comes against me.  It is a song He sings to me when I feel like I have failed and want to give up.  His song rejoices my heart and lifts me up when depression or anxiety attacks me in the night.  It is a song of God's great love for me.  That's right!  It is a song just for me.  My song says Jesus loves me.  He touches me and tells me I belong to Him alone.  It gives me courage to keep going.

When I am cast down in despair, Jesus steps in and sings to me of hope.  He calls me His own child and touches the darkness in my soul, bringing light.  Walking through this world there are things that grab my feet and cling like death.  When I give up trying to fix myself, Jesus, steps in and  gently washes my feet, singing my song to me.  He draws me into His embrace and tells me I am His and no one can take that away from me. 

There will never be anyone, anywhere who will love me like Jesus.  He has a song for you, when you are ready to hear it.  It will be your very own connection to Jesus but you have to give up yourself and let Him sing His song till you are overflowing with love that keeps you secure and confident as you go about your life.  Some people call this the song of the redeemed.  All I know is that it is my song, my very own song, personalized just for me and because it is mine I want to touch Him and love Him and tell Him He is mine.

It is such a wonderful mystery that Jesus would choose to love me like He does.  He sees my failure and the wrong things I do and still takes me in His arms and says, "You are mine." How can you ignore a God like that?

This is real love. It is not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as a sacrifice to take away our sins. 1 John 4:10

Is Jesus singing your song to you?  If you listen you will hear Him say, "How beautiful you are, my beloved, how beautiful!"  Are you ready for the love of God?  He will fill you to overflowing with a song that is uniquely yours.  Jesus wants to sing a love song to His people.  He wants each one of us to come into that special place He has prepared for us and let Him love us.  How can we tell others that Jesus loves them if we have never experienced that love for ourselves?

It is so sad that a Christian can believe in Jesus and never hear that special love song He has prepared just for them.  I hope what I have said causes you to hunger for the Lord's presence.  Let your ears be open to hear Him because He is knocking on the door of your heart today.  When you open to Him He will come in and sing a song just for you, a song the angels can not sing.
