No Innocent Victim

NO INNOCENT VICTIM- STRENGTH

Rescue 1995

  • Thank God! I am so glad to hear that real hardcore is not dead. You can actually understand what he's saying. This album has a lot of fast stuff and also some more melodic stuff. The vocals sound a lot like Agnostic Front. "All Together" is my favorite song on the album. It talks about unity and friendship. If you want some old-school hardcore that sounds like it was around many years ago, then buy this. Although I don't know where you would get it, because it's out of print.-8

    NO INNOCENT VICTIM- NO COMPROMISE

    Rescue 1996

  • NIV is back. This album follows the same style as the first one, but expands on it. This album is less melodic and Jason screams a bit more. There is also more of an Oi influence on this one, with shout out choruses and vocals sung straight from the gut. The hidden track is a magnificent cover of The Crucified's "Crucial Moment." If you buy this, you will not be dissapointed. Oh yeah, this is out of print also.-8

NO INNOCENT VICTIM- FLESH AND BLOOD

    Victory 1999

  • Wow. This album is different. Forget the sung vocals, Jason just screams now. Almost every song on here is fast, and when they appear, the breakdowns make you want to start clap-dancing in your room. This album goes by way too fast at just under 25 minutes, which leaves you wanting more. This is the greatest NIV album so far and i can't wait for the next one.-9
