We have a lovely old Queenslander which was shifted to its present site in 1904 on a bullock wagon. The house has a lovely homey, warm feel about it, high ceilings, big breezy rooms, a front verandah which leads to winged stairs, a huge deck off the living room...... just bliss. All this and a terraced garden complete with bridge and pergola, compulsory barbeque down the back, room to put the computer in (rofl) who could want for more?
Here are the boys with their friends at a waterfall which is about an hour west from home. This is a beautiful spot which you reach after a long climb up the mountain range. The views are spectacular and there is a great park there for the kids to play. This is where my internet friends and our kids met for THAT picnic. The other kids? Some of Sarah's of course! lol (photography by Phil)
As times goes on I will add some pictures to this page from Australia. Local, interstate, landmarks and those sites known by all Aussies and overseas people alike, such as The Opera House.
