This is a means to ensure that all our treasured photos are safely displayed in safe photo albums for generations to enjoy. The old style albums can sometimes make photos deteriorate and turn yellow.

All pages and items used in Scrapbooking, or Memory Making, are acid and lignin free. Journalling can be done using special pens and stickers create a lovely feel. The fun is the creative side of the craft by journalling, using coloured paper, borders, stickers, die cuts..... the list is endless.

I'm an avid photographer and spend many hours going through old albums and placing my lovely photos into the correct kind of album so that they boys can enjoy them, as will their children and maybe even their grandchildren.

Last year I discovered an email group called Aus Scrappers. We email daily giving ideas, tips, layouts, sites and encouragement and support. The South East Queensland group met early in 2000 and had a wonderful afternoon tea together. It was so nice to meet face to face, drool over each others' scrapbooks and we laughed and had a wonderful time!

I've added a couple of Australian sites below to help with ideas and places to buy items. As this craft is becoming more popular the number of sites are multiplying rapidly. This is a real bonus for Australian Scrapbookers to be able to purchase goods from Australian companies and not to have to worry about import and converting to overseas dollars. Any new sites will be added to this list, with the owner's permission. Enjoy!!
