Gargon discontinued the Space Bouts series. Dan Pharp commented on the series, saying it was a rip-off. Collins wrote back, and so the fight was on. The fight lasted for about three weeks, and then Pharp called it off, saying he would never talk to us again and he called us an "ass". Space Bouts creator Josh Collins was fired from Gargon Comics. The end. Or is it? Do you have any damn idea what happened to the Catman Series?!?! They keep saying there working on it, but the first one been out for about four months!!Could someone please tell me what the hell happened to it?!?! Taylor Hink Editor: I'm not completely sure what Joey's been up to recently. We had an interview with him a while back. According to Joey Lefogle and Gargon Comics president Bill Parker, nothing at all has happened to the series! Gargon was the first company to write in and tell us which comics were being continued and which ones were being discontinued. Now we're waiting for Chaos to tell us. He tells us that he will still be making the company with Pharp. We asked Larsone if he was mad at Pharp. He said, "Wasn't his fault. I don't care. He's normally nice." I wouldn't say calling us an "ass" nice, but that's our short talk with Larsone. Apparently, Gargon is the only one taking action about this "fight". P&L Announce first comic! ========================= Pharp & Larsone have announced the first comic to be released by their company! It will be called "Combination". We have no clue as to what this title means, but it sounds pretty cool! Good luck on your first comic, Tomthayn Larsone! New rule from the Comic Rating System! ====================================== We have finally convinced the CR to make a rule that the comic must have a price on the front cover! Not only that, but the comic authors must take credit for their work! Come on guys, Gargon has been doing this from the beginning! Announcement From CG ==================== We have found out today that Pharp has moved his ass to the little info center thing. They have posted extra information on this thing. Due to failure to contact me, we have no further info on that combination. Pharp and Larsone (especially Larsone), if you don't contact me to give us the information, then we will no longer post announcements in CG2 about P&L or their comics. Looks like he's got some souls to take and people to make rest in peace! ---------- New Series ---------- Fred Roper, Attorney At Law #1 ========================== This comic is about some guy who plays chess and acts like an idiot. Tobit 4:12 #1 ============= First there was Austin 3:16, now there's Tobit 4:12! Hel Comics tells us that they might (?) release Tobit 4:12, which deals with the undertaker. Second Steve Austin Series ========================== Hel Comics has told us that they have a second Steve Austin series coming out. That's awfully strange considering series one only has one comic so far! Unbelievable Rucky #1 ===================== Chaos may finally release another comic! We have been told that this series will contain lots of bad words! The Devil #1 ============ Another series coming out from Chaos! Maybe they're finally making a comeback! We can't really tell you too much on the Devil yet. Terminator II #1 ================ Chaos is going to try to get permission to make a T2 comic! I wonder if it'll be based off of the old T2 comic which was banned? Pest #1 ======= Micson Comics is going to start a new series called the Pest (based off the movie?). Haunted Mask #1 =============== Bozo Comics is going to make a two issue mini-series based off the TV show the Haunted Mask. --------- One Shots --------- !@#$*-Up Comics and Liner Comics Special! ========================================= !@#$*-Up Comics and Liner Comics have announced that they will bring out a special issue! It's a combination of Work Adventures and Church Adventures! Check out the Comics Guide #1 for our older Reviews! ---------------------------------------------------------------- ------------- Gargon Comics ------------- Gabe the Gangster #11 ===================== The cover says introducing Victimizer, but it only shows his arm (?). John was murdered in this issue (I wonder how John #6 will explain this!) and Gabe must face eternal damnation. Whooppee! This issue sure does make you wonder what the hell will happen next time! How is Gabe gonna get outta hell? We'll all just have to wait to find out, but while you're waiting, pick up Gabe the Gangster #11! ---------- Mr. Comics ---------- The Story of the Gun #2 ======================= Wow this comic is a winner! Mr. Comics is really giving Gargon and Chaos a run for their money! The Story of the Gun mixes many elements into one (sorry to say) overpriced comic. This one costs $3.95 for a five page comic! It's not like there's a damn rule that a comic must be five pages! The comic is a continuation from #1. It's about this kid who shot this guy and now the guy is back and after the kid. Sounds kinda like Gabe if you ask me. Anyways, the quality of this comic is as good as GC and Chaos Comics. Mike and Jake #1 ================ This comic surprised me!! It looked really stupid from the cover but it's alright! The story could use a little work (if there was one!) but these characters have great potential! All that Mr. Comics has to do is lose the shitty artists, get a story and this comic would kick ass! Anyways, even if they won't take our advice, let's see some more Mike and Jake soon, all that Mr. Comics seems to be making is the Story of the Gun. ----------- Bozo Comics ----------- The Crash Mummy #3 ================== The Crash Mummies are already at Issue 3! Wow, these guys may be around for quite a while! In keeping with the tradition, the cover is a parody of Action Comics #1. The issue is standard Pharp stuff, with nothing too exciting going on here. The last page has a very lousy drawing of the Crash Mummy getting his head punched off, except Dan Pharp told us that he just didn't want to take the time to draw the rest of his body. It's stuff like this that makes you want to throw the comic away! Also, the comic is five pages, which is getting really tiresome! Liner Comics ------------ Ass-Kicker #1 ============= Your ass. Meet his foot. He will kick your ass! Ass-Kicker is the first comic in Liner Comics line-up of comics. It's about this guy who's name (maybe nickname?) is the Ass-Kicker. Basically he just has this big list of asses to kick. So then this guy with binoculars glued onto his face challenges Ass-Kicker. Not a bad comic. Too short and too expensive (what else is new, all comics have that problem!). The Mailman #1 ============== Ted Biscin's latest creation! This is the one he wouldn't tell us about in the interview. We barely got it into this version! It's about this Mailman who has sharp letters that he throws at people to kill them. Hopefully we'll get to learn a little more about the character soon! Anyways, don't miss this one. Hel Comics ---------- Work Adventures #1 =============== This is an excellent comic that is based off of actual events! Like Church Adventures! It features the famous spit attack on the cover, which was censored thanks to the Comic Rating System. This is Hel Comics first series and I'll say that they're off to a good start. Austin 3:16 #1 ============== This one's about this dude named Steve who kicks people's asses (ala Ass-Kicker). The cover was ok but when it's out in stores it will be censored. Anyways, in the comic Steve is in a church and he gets kicked out. He bumps into this guy and then he beats him up. At the end he's about to kick another guy's ass and then it ends. Pick this one up! ------------- Jumper Comics ------------- The Shifer #1 ============= Jumper has finally released their next comic! It's about this one guy who named Explosion who puts tape on his face and tries to kill Shifer. Shifer was in two panels in the whole comic. Weak! There's another guy called Spikel who is also trying to kill Shifer so Spikel and Explosion fight. To be continued. Not very exciting at all! Jumper Comics must be really proud about this comic, because they have announced that they're going to make a TV Show of the Shifer! Jumper better shape up and make this series worthwhile!
