Rhonda's
Ramblings
Who would have thought
so long ago...
That to Italy, you would
go...
Aross the ocean far away...
Away from family and to
stay..
Flying away ...
high in the sky....
Didn't have much time...
To say good-bye...
Bon Voy-age...
I did not get to say..
Wishing you a joyful trip...
Yet, wishing you would
stay...
A bouquet of roses...
Would have been a nice
goodbye...
While wishing you the best...
And trying not to cry...
More of the world...
For her to see...
She took with her...
A part of me...
When to Italy ....
She did roam...
Letters she received...
A touch of home...
Thank the Lord for email...
And cell phones galore...
Snail mail is also nice...
If it's the only door..
To keep in touch across
the miles...
To the good ole USA....
Where your mom now is..
And here she plans to stay
So Bon Voyage....
Now my sweet....
Wishing you a wonderful
time...
Until, next time we meet
Love, Mom
