 My Hinds Family Ina Dorsey, Mollie Hinds daughter. My grandma Ina and her son Issac Jackson. Ina was born 6-24-1893 in AR. Her father was Frank Dorsey who she never knew. Mollie brought Ina to Indian Territory when she was just a small girl. Ina married James Louis Dazzler (called Dazley on the Indian rolls), Ice Jackson and Earl Wilson. She is buried at Hendricks cemetery Southwest of Tahlequah, OK. The pic above was taken
in CA I think. Ina Dorsey Dazzler Jackson Wilson This pic was taken at my house the last time I saw her before a stroke paralyzed her. I saw her after she had the stroke and she could not talk. She died June 3, 1977 in a nursing home in Stockton, CA. She is buried in OK though in Hendricks cemetery. I visted her grave yesterday (May 12, 2000). She requested no flowers at her funeral so there were none. She told the funeral director if he allowed any flowers at her funeral that she would "ride that hearse every time he went to get a body". lol She had a sense of humor at times but she meant it about the flowers. She said if anyone wanted to give her flowers to give them while she was alive and could enjoy them, not after she was dead. My grannie was one of a kind. 11-2-1937. Dollie was born at Pettit, OK and I was born at my grandmothers house at Cookson, OK. I grew up in the OK hills and I am proud to an OKIE. I have lived in AZ, NV, CA and OK.
