Welcome to
Betty's Haven
A poem by me
Flowers Gently Placed
I watched her place the flowers....
So gently on your grave....
She had picked them from the
ground...
Where wild flowers did abound....
From near the place you lay...
The words she could not say.....
Were said in that small
deed....
As your sister felt the need...
To tell you once again...
Of her love to you, her kin...
And how she wished to see you....
Her brother who she knew...
That called her in the house...
His little "Mimsey Mouse"....
When as a child so long ago...
No way that she could know...
His life would be cut short...
And she would then resort....
To
Placing flowers
Gently on his grave...

Note: My daughter visited her brother's grave and
placed the flowers on it. I was inspired to write
this poem.
