You meet Cait Sith at the Gold Saucer, where he tells Cloud's fortune. After several bad tries, with results like 'Your lucky color is blue', he comes up with this one: 'Your goal will be reached, but you will lose something dear to you'. He says he's never gotten a fortune like that before... and that he absolutly has to find out the meaning of it. So, he just kind of tags along. He's definitely right up there with Yuffie as one of the game's stranger characters, and he's certainly not all he seems to be.
