"Yeah I know!" Elaine replied. "It's awesome. I could die happy!"
Isaac turned around. "This is where we like to hang out before we go on," he told the girls. The three bros lead the girls into a room which had a basketball court, a volleyball net, soccer balls and a few pairs of rollerblades thrown up against a nearby corner.
"You guys," Zac began. Taylor jabbed him in his left rib. "You GIRLS want to play something?"Zac continued.
"SURE!" Brooke replied running over to get a basketball. Elaine groaned.
"Yeah. Let's play basketball!"Ike agreed. "One on one!" Brooke and Ike began to play.
"So, what do you want to play?" Taylor asked Elaine.
"I don't know. Whatever you want to."
"I'm gonna rollerblade!"Zac announced. No one payed any attention to him. He sniffed sarcastically and went to put on his rollerblades.
"So, what do you want to play?"Taylor asked again.
"I already said it was up to you," Elaine pointed out.
"How about soccer?" he suggested.
"Great," thought Elaine sarcastically. "The one of many sports I can't play." "Sure," she told him.
"Don't like soccer, huh?" Taylor replied reading through the lines.
"What makes you say that?"
"You don't seem extremely thrilled about it. We don't have to play if you don't want. I was just suggesting. We could just watch Ike make a fool out of himself," Tay replied. He wasn't joking about Isaac either. Even though Brooke wasn't the tallest thing in the world and a munchkin compared to Ike, she was certainly 'kicking some Isaac butt' as she later put it. Isaac wasn't bad but Brooke was better. It was pathetic looking. If you saw the spectacle you'd be falling to the ground with laughter as Zac was displaying at the moment.
Ike and Brooke finished the game and came over to join Taylor, Elaine, and Zac. "What time is it?" Isaac asked, catching his breath.
"It's exactly...."Taylor started. "Time to go!" he shouted.
"Shi----shoot!"Isaac replied, quick to catch his language. "We need to get ready. Can you girls find your way back to the audience?"
"Yeah, sure. Thanks for everything you guys have done. Keep in touch if you can. Good luck with the show. We'll be in the front row cheering you on!"Brooke told them. Isaac, Taylor, and Zac waved and rushed to go change. The girls walked to get to their seats.
"Do you believe what happened?" Elaine asked.
"Yeah. I kicked some Isaac butt!"Brooke proclaimed.
"Not just that! The whole thing!" Elaine shrieked.
"Oh I know. Wait until everyone finds out about this. I have to get over the shock first though," Brooke replied. The girls came to the door they entered at. A large, bald headed man stood by the door.
"Can we get out?" Elaine asked.
"So you are the two girls they invited in," he replied. The two girls nodded. "Go through this door and take a left. You can avoid the crowd better that way." "Thanks," Brooke said. The man nodded and opened the door for them. A shriek of sound hit the girls' ears. They walked out to find themselves standing on the stage. "Oh shoot. This ain't good."
"Ya think?" Elaine replied.
"Well the only thing we can do is wave!"Brooke announced. They walked across the stage and to the edge. There was no space between the stage and crowd, only a line of very large security guards.
"How'd you get up there?" one of the men asked the girls.
"We were backstage with Hanson. That sounds really pathetic I know, but it's true."Elaine replied.
"Okay. Need help down?" the man offered.
"Sure. Thanks a lot!" Elaine said. The man helped the girls down. Elaine's father was waiting for them by their seats.
"Did you girls have fun?" asked her dad. The crowd was so loud it was hard to understand what he had said. All the girls could get out was a "yeah". Just then the lights began to flash, the crowd grew louder. The concert was about to begin.
