Throughout the Universe there are many people, many spirits, many living creatures and other living
things. It is sad that we as a whole have failed to appreciate all of the Creators creations. Why is
it that we feel we must fit everything into molds and then catagoize them? There are many peoples on
this God's green earth. All of the different religions teach us the same thing, to honor our brothers
and to love one another. The Christian, Buhdist, Shaolin, Catholic, and all the others knew in the
beginning of their religion the very foundation of TRUE spiritual awareness, of becoming one with the
Creator, and how to accomplish these things. Today however man has forgotten these things. Perhaps it
is time for man to once again look to Our Creators examples, like the Wolf. On the outside the Wolf
appears to be a loner and stick only with his kind. To a degree this is true. The point here is that
while the Wolf may appear to be one thing to man, he is infact many things to those who have learned
to love and respect him. He is respectful to all creatures, even toward men of good hearts. The Wolf
works hard to protect everything in his domain. The Wolf also knows that his domain is not just his
and knows that it must be shared with other species in order for him to survive. There are many other
things as well. To know the Wolf, you must know yourself, and you must have a TRUE concept of what the
Creators purpose for man is all about.
Explaining Native American beliefs to someone who has no foundation in it is something that I have nearly
stopped doing. Our rituals and spiritual customs seem paganistic or barbaric, when in fact, many of us
feel the same way about the white religions. The white mans rituals and customs are in many ways no different
than ours. The Creator told the Native American to love and honor all creation without reservation,
without limitations, and to remember the ways of our ancestors, the rituals, and those things presented
to us as sacred. Like our brother the Wolf, we put no limitations on the Creator. We know that the Creator
sent Angels to the white man, the yellow man, the black man, and to us. When all of mankind puts aside the
anger and the greed to remember his past, there will be an end to war, hunger and so on. The Wolf is a tribe,
just like man is a tribe. The wolf has more than one species/clan of his tribe, as does man. The wolf sees to
the needs of his tribe regardless of the clan. Remember the Wolf and his medicine and you will find your path.
Seek the Creators wisdom by whatever means your path allows or suggests. None of us follow the same path, yet
we can all arrive at the same destination. Whether it is by Shamanism, Christianity, Wiccan, Catholicism,
Buhdism, Hinduism, or whatever, it is the intent of the spirit and the heart that counts! Man has four clans;
white, red, black, and yellow.
We are planning a gathering of spirit medicine people for sometime around Spring. Medicine people of all
Mother Earth Groups will be welcome to participate and set up booths, tents, or whatever. There will also be
