The SeQueL: PaRt 9

“What the hell are you doing?” I asked Ike as we stopped next to the Jewelry store. Unexpectedly, Isaac had stopped to look at the men’s earrings in the window.

“Oh...me..ummmm...just looking at the jewelry,” Ike said quickly.

“THE EARRINGS?” I replied inquisitively.

“Well....I...um..let’s just forget it,” he said nervously. Oh god, I have a feeling she’s getting suspicious. But I’m not going to tell her anything. Taylor said NO, so I’m not going to spill the beans like last time. Hmm...that silver stud might be just right. Then again, the gold one is more expensive looking.....

“ISAAC HANSON..LET’S GO!” I yelled impatiently grabbing the back of his shirt. We were slowly, but surely making our way to the Doc Martin store to get the pair of maroon boots Tay had put on hold. When we finally arrived at the store it was 4:00 PM.

“Let’s get the shoes, and go back to the hotel,” I said to Ike, exhausted.

“All right,” Ike said, plopping himself down on a bench to wait for the clerk to bring out Tay’s boots.

~meanwhile in another corner of the store~

“I WANT these ones, mom....” whined Barbara,” they’re just like Taylor’s, just like them!!!!!”

“But they’re so expensive,” screeched her mother.

“BUT I will wear them for the rest of my life..PPLLEAASSEE!” she yelled again.

“All right..we’ll just have to cut back on all those Bop magazines you’ve been buying,” reasoned Mrs. Wainman.

As they made their way to the cashier, Barbara saw us.

“IKE!...AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!” screamed Barbara.

“Ba...Ba...Barbara.., what are you doing here,” Ike asked extremely surprised. He looked her up and down. Her hair was pathetically braided as an attempt to look like Zac, and her B.O. could be smelled from miles away.

“Our flight got delayed a day, I was hoping to find you guys...where’s Taylor?” Barbara replied.

“At home...”Ike continued.

“You didn’t by any chance find a gold necklace anywhere, did you?” Barbara asked, sort of calming down. It was her like her 10th time seeing them, and she was getting over the shock. Especially since it was just Isaac, instead of all 3 of them.

“Yes, actually we did,” Ike responded,” but it’s at the hotel, how about we get your address and mail it to you?”

“Well, it’s worth over $300.00, I don’t know if I would want you to send it to me, what if it got lost?” Barbara answered.

I shot Ike a “don’t let her come back to the hotel with us” look.

“Well, we’ll make sure it doesn’t,” Ike said.

“Excuse me...Mr. Isaac...I reckon these are the boots your brother wanted?” the clerk asked.

“Yep, those are them,” Ike replied.

We paid for the boots and left, before Barbara could say another word. We knew it was risky to walk, so we called a cab.

“Gwen?, Gwen?,” Ike called to me. I was too tired to answer, but still awake, so I just didn’t say anything.

“Tay...Tay...she’s asleep..” Ike whispered to Tay.

“Did you go to the jewelry store?” Tay replied.

“Yeah, but I didn’t find an earring that really would look good with your face,” Ike said.

“Well, we’ll go shopping tomorrow and see if we can find one, you only looked at one jewelry store,” Tay replied, determined as ever.

“AN EARRING?” I yelled into Tay’s ear, waking him up.

“YOU’RE GOiNG To GET AN EARRING!?!!” I screamed again.

“What?” Tay asked sleepy-eyed.

“You and Ike, last night, what were you talking about, huh?” I inquired of him.

“You were practically drooling over Leonardo DeCaprio and his earring a couple days ago!” Tay replied, now wide awake.

“WHAT! I was reading an article TAYLOR! So, does this mean if you see me reading about Tori Spelling’s breast implants you’re going to go get some??????” I replied, half laughing at my comment.

“I guess I should’ve asked you first,” he said sadly.

“Don’t get an earring, it’d make you look ugly...besides I love you just the way you are,” I said. He sad face turned into a smile, we kissed, and then went to breakfast.

As we sat down to eat in the central cafe, I noticed heads turn and some nearby girls begin to mumble. We acted as though we didn’t see them, and ordered our food. It was going to be an exciting day in London. We were going to be shooting the “Cried” video. Tay and I were coming up with some great ideas for it. I would be in it too.
