Update: Rebecca has graduated from high school, and "Sweet Innocence" is no more! The girls are still sing solos in high school, but I am now a working woman! I am taking classes at TCC and I'm working on getting a new group started with my buddy, Aaron. So read below....
READ ON! Sweet Innocence is the hottest group in Tulsa consisting of four extremly talented female singers. If you haven't already guessed I'm one of them,
and I like to brag. Amanda Ritchey sings the mid-low part in our angelic group (I refuse to call it a quartet- we don't wear plaid-) she is sixteen years old and has been singing in
the group for two years. Emily Coggins, also Amanda's best friend, is our second soprano and she has also been in the group for two years. She is sixteen too. Rebecca Souza (that's me) is the first soprano, and she's the one who had
the brilliant idea to join four great voices together for an incredible sound
that will sky rocket us to the top of the charts...sorry I get carried away sometimes...
I'm seventeen by the way. Last but definitely not last, our newest member is the lovely Leslie Lovett. She has
taken the place of the dearly missed Nicole Novak, who graduate last year. Leslie is fifteen and she sings
alto, the lowest part. We have not yet had a performance with this new group; however, tomorrow at 6:15 we will see what
happens as we strut our stuff for the hallowzooween at the Tulsa Zoo. Wish us luck!
